Another Burton & Depp outing as a dark, gothic, comedy/fantasy film. A sort of darker, funnier mix of beauty and the beast, meets Frankenstein. A bit weird but it has a great cast and some funny scenes. A good film worth checking out!

"This book means so much to me — I remember when Perry was taking these photos in Dublin 20 years ago. Ogden is sincere about the subject, and captures the natural beauty of the Dublin people, and the human connection between man and horse."

"Again, such a beautiful film. To see Blackness shared in this manner with such care and love and beauty, and the vulnerability in this film was just a sight to behold. I was so moved by how love was explored through this film."

"For me, Breathless and Vivre sa vie were a revelation, a new concept of cinema. Pierrot added an emotional and cinematic extra level: color, widescreen, the French landscape, the beauty of its stars, its casual use of experimentation both visual and narrative."

"The charms of the other Hitchcocks—I would like to have included The 39 Steps but don’t have the room—to which are added an atmosphere of such intense passionate tension and threatened betrayal, as well as a cast of archetypal beauty"
