Disney even like to make the bad guy good! Lol (0 more)

really enjoyed this live action remake of sleeping beauty, AJ is perfectly cast as Maleficent and the rest of the cast are spot on too, the story is strong enough to carry through and keep you engaged. My only issue is that Disney can't even let a bad guy be completely bad, its like they all need a redeeming feature, bring back the evil bad guys! Lol

"Experimental Tape 2 (Vol. 1) is the purest, most potent of bedroom [production] madness and beauty, but basically no one heard it when it came out. It's like a combo of Bowie, Al Green, late-period Scott Walker, and R&B, but done on GarageBand in a small room with mass amounts of painkillers and Adderall. It’s so fucked and heartfelt and rhythmic and playful. "Emma Baby" is one of the most cosmic melodic climaxes I’ve heard in a very long time."

"I first saw this on a ghostly, fifth-generation Betamax bootleg bought from a record fair in Glasgow in the early 1980s (the same way I first watched Eat the Document, A Clockwork Orange, and the films of the Sex Pistols’s U.S. tour). As much as the bleached-out, mysteriously forbidden images on my copy of this film had a degraded beauty all their own, seeing and hearing the film now in its full glory is a thing of joy."

"Watched a lot of this on my phone on the RER B because I kept seeing the cover or poster or something. Watched it in sections on my phone, which must be blasphemy. I watched it while I was in postproduction for An Oversimplification of Her Beauty and briefly became insecure about finishing the movie because I felt that, as a person making a movie about making a movie about all the women in my life, I was accidentally plagiarizing 8½"

"It was the first song that I ever sang at a live talent show when I was seven years old. There were 400 people in the audience. It was in Mission, B.C., where I was born and raised, and my dad actually accompanied me on the acoustic guitar. We played the Bangles and 'Beauty and the Beast,' and I won that competition. It was like my first time out on stage, and my first thrill of winning a little trophy."

This was one of my favourite books when I was younger.
And reading it while I'm older, its still a brilliant book.
I love the writing style with the P.O.V coming from black beauty. You feel like you're watching his life unfold from the side lines. While reading I was transported to 19th century England, and while it's just a story, its horrible to know the horrors that some horses went through.
This book will always remain one of my favourites.

"The zenith for both Pabst and star Louise Brooks—the latter has become almost solely emblematic of the flapper age because of this film! Adapted from playwright Franz Wedekind’s story of Lulu, a preternaturally powerful beauty blithely strolling through the mating marshlands of the world, where nature is savagely cruel to both the pursuers and the pursued. Watch this film at different stages of your romantic life span and behold your sympathies shifting all over the place! Ouch! Gorgeous! Ouch, again!"

"“The Peanut Butter Falcon” is a must-see that will melt your heart. It should be shown in every school in America, because no one can leave this film and see people with disabilities the same way again. The love and beauty in every frame of this film is palpable, and it’s charming as heck. In fact, I would say Shia LaBeouf and Zack Gottsagen on the run together makes for the greatest love story of the year, tied only with…"
