Zuky the BookBum (15 KP) rated Wuthering Heights in Books

Maybe this book works for people who are interested in the Victorian era and are easily pleased by drab events happening to drab people on a drab landscape. For me, this book was beyond ridiculous!
Heath was the only character I liked, the one I wasn't supposed to like. He was the only character who had any redeeming features and who I actually had some feelings for. Cathy is just an over-the-top fruit loop with a stick up... well, where the sun don't shine. Yeah she didn't have the best upbringing or the best family but she didn't need to become so self righteous.
Dull, dull and dull.

The Importance of Recognizing Hate.
This novel is worth reading because the storyline is so powerful and important. As a reader, you would connect to the main character, Starr. Her voice, her life experience and the community around her, are what set this story to be so powerful and beyond words. I truly recommend people to read this book not only because the topic in the book is important but because its necessary to read about what is going on today with our children and our country.

No disassemble Number 5!
I remember when I saw this movie at the theatre in 1986 when it was the 2nd half of a double feature. I don't even remember what the first movie was any more.
I love this movie beyond words. The goofy humor of the robot, his interactions with Ally Sheedy and Steve Guttenberg, and even GW Bailey playing the always bad guy.
Some of the robot's one liners were just precious! "You're mamma was a snowblower!"
Probably one of those 80s movies you had to be alive then to appreciate, but still a classic!

They fight so I dont have to (1 more)
They cuss more than me
Get my bitchy out
As a stay at home mom with very few friends in the real world, I tend to find escape in Netflix original programming. Litchfield minimum security has made my nap time much more interesting since I can get involved in someone else's drama and not pick petty fights with the grocery store clerk. I hate all those women, but I seriously cant live without them now. This is the perfect show of your maturity is beyond high school and you've watched all the episodes of friends
Alicia S (193 KP) rated Epilogue (The Dark Duet, #3) in Books

I was so not ready for this ending... What can I say? Beautiful beyond words... I can't even begin to say how much I loved seeing this next step towards the new life these two are building after surviving more than any two people should. The first two books in this series were so dark and twisted yet this ending somehow made it all right and beautiful in the end. His devotion to making things right between them gripped at my heart and I was SO happy that these two could find love after all they gone through. PERFECT ending to an incredible series!!
The picky eater that I am, when I see a book such as this - that makes me want to eat everything on the page - they have surely outdone themselves! This is one of those books that seeing in eBook format makes me NEED to see and touch it. Images throughout this book are truly incredible - clean, fresh and beyond appealing. Love the simple, clean country look. Contains many incredibly helpful tips and techniques for both cooking and kitchen, that every cook or baker would benefit from as well as a collection of both basic and creative recipes! Steps are wonderfully detailed and illustrated - truly a work of art!

This is the full length story of Elena and Karl and it starts when Karl is 27. For a long time, Elena and Karl have kept their relationship purely platonic due to circumstances "beyond their control" but things are about to change.
This story is full of action, romance, drama and suspense. You find out little snippets as you read along and the characters are built up. There is no insta-love in this book, just a deep and true friendship that could always have been something more if things had been different.
Absolutely brilliant and an ending which definitely makes you reach for the next book in the series!

Light and enjoyable
As chick lit books go, this is fairly good. Yes it’s a little cheesy and it’s beyond predictable, but it’s well written and easy to connect with all 3 of the main characters in some way across the course of the book. They all have flaws, lots of them in some cases, and there are times when some of their actions become very frustrating. That said, it was a light hearted and sweet book that was quick and enjoyable to read. Not one I’d rush to recommend unless you're into these sorts of books - for me it was just a quick read before moving onto something more serious.

Wow!
Basically, without going into too much detail about the plot it’s about newly married Jane Forrester becomes a social worker in 1960’s Grace County she encounters families that are poor beyond her comprehension, events occur that will change her and the families lives forever.
It’s slightly depressing but the story is SO good and the ends justifies the means, literally! I don’t know why I seem to review books that end up making me cry, I guess I’m just a big softy. It’s not a romantic story, it’s political for the time. It’s worth reading if just for the ending!

The Greater Good
Saw VI- im sad that im almost done with the frachise, i would want to rewatch it again sometime soon in the near future. Like i said in prevous reviews- i love the story line, the twist and turns throughtout the story line, the charcters and the endings.
The Plot: With Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) still directing events from beyond the grave, Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) emerges as the heir to the killer's twisted legacy. But as the FBI closes in, Hoffman sets in motion a game that is designed to reveal Jigsaw's grand scheme.
A must watch franchise, if you havent seen it yet.
