Thanks to NetGalley and Hachette books for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.
I found this book delightful. It was easy to understand without being condescending and has really cute illustrations.
The vignettes are short and sweet and the book is packed with information.
I would definitely recommend this book to animal lovers with a good sense of humor.

Cara Robertson dug really deep into the Borden trial. The details are exquisitely laid out from beginning to end. not only is this book a fascinating look at the trial itself but also the culture of the time.

I really like this first book in the series! The characters are well-written and believable and the mystery was entertaining.
There was a little oddness to how some of the characters were described but I'll get into that with the video review after the book is released.
Definitely a solid outing.
