Heather Heatso Culbertson (295 KP) rated Dead Reckoning (Sookie Stackhouse, #11) in Books
Oct 20, 2018 (Updated Oct 20, 2018)
My so so rating of this book is definitely partly my fault, it’s been 7 years since I read the last books and while I do remember quite a bit (although probably mixed up with True Blood facts,) I obviously can’t remember some of the past subplots. I liked this one well enough, and this has been a kick to finish the series sooner rather than later.
Chelsea (166 KP) rated China Rich Girlfriend (Crazy Rich Asians #2) in Books
Oct 24, 2018
I really enjoyed this second book in the Crazy Rich Asians series. Rachel and Nick are about to get married when she gets crazy news from her now-approving future mother-in-law: her father is not only alive but is waiting to meet her. There are many ups and downs, new characters’ stories, and lots of glimpses into the life of these crazy rich people!
Roxanne (13 KP) rated How to Fix Almost Everything in Books

A good pocket pick me up that's a part of the 'feeling low' series. This book helps you to take a problem or a situation that you want to change/control and breaks it down into easy to digest chunks. The process includes mindmapping in order to break down a problem and coming up with ideas in order to solve some issues you may have.

I must say I really enjoy books like this, it was light, humourous and about my favourite subject: BOOOOKS!!
This is great to read between 2 heavy books as you can dip in and out and it's a quick read. I spotted this and the second book in the series going cheap online so I couldnt resist getting them, money well spent.

David McK (3649 KP) rated Fearless (The Lost Fleet, #2) in Books
Jan 30, 2019
Second entry in Jack Campbell's 'The Lost Fleet' series, and, if I'm honest: I don't really know what to say. Compared to the first book, it's pretty much more of the same: if you enjoyed that one you'll probably also enjoy this one.
Remember that the battles (and events) are described as being fought in real time: there's no instantaneous communication between ships, for example.

Sarah Betts (103 KP) rated A Curio Killing in Books

I received a copy of this book from Midnight Ink through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I really liked the characters and the setting. I thought that the B mystery was way more interesting than the main one.
I just didn't care enough about Hank to be invested. I'd be really interested in reading this series as long as Hank wasn't involved!
