This book picks up a year after the last book ends. If you haven't read the first book it would help but you don't have too, although you might be a little confused about the Squirrel People. (If you choose to read "A Dirty Job", go ahead and read "Coyote Blue" too)
I dislike the main character, Charlie, a bit in this, he's a bit of a prick in this book even if it is slightly understandable it is annoying.
I admit I came quite close to throwing the book across the room and if I said why I'd have to hit the spoiler button.
A good read that has some witty moments but is a little more meandering than his other books. I read it on vacation so I was able to easily pick it up and put it down without getting confused or losing my spot.
All in all a good book but not his best.

Another brilliant destiny falls mystery!

Hayden is settle in destiny falls although there are still murders and mysteries she is happy living her life, the only thing she is worried about is her father should of been back 2 weeks ago from his trip to Gladstone. where Is he? What has gone wrong?

I love Elizabeth's gripping style of writing in these series she describes everything with such vigor and detail that you can almost smell, see and feel everything that's happening. She certainly had me hooked on these books and I cannot wait for the next one to come, I'm guessing that the series will come to and end eventually and I will be bitterly disappointed when the time comes I love escaping to destiny falls the bonus of having a book is that you can always revisit the story and that is something I will deffinatly be doing!

4/5 stars please read it!

This is the perfect companion to Fractured Moon but it won't make any sense unless you've read Fractured Moon first.

This is Ceithin's side of the story, of when Aura was kidnapped and tortured. You will learn how he coped and dealt with the situation, the anguish and the torment of knowing his mate was gone and there was nothing he could do to help. You will also hear more about family and how they coped, especially Ville as he tried to deal without his bond with Aura. Although I already knew what happened to Aura because of reading the first book, the telling of Ceithin's story still managed to bring a tear to my eye.

Recommended for everyone who has read Fractured Moon.

This is the debut novel of Jen Crane and she has started with a belter! There are some brilliant one-liners in here, and she has given a new meaning between a younger girl and an older man!

So many characters in here to draw you in! Stella herself is cracking! She deals with life-changing events with attitude and aplomb, whilst committing herself fully. Gresham is simply gorgeous and I can't get enough of him. Timbra is sweet but with a sassy edge. Ewan - what can I say about him? He intrigues me and I can't wait to see where this story will take him.

Well-written, smoothly paced, and laced with humour, this is a book to savour! Definitely recommended by me and I can't wait for book 2!!

I have read and enjoyed a few books by Mr MacBride but this one has me in a quandary as whilst it had me on the edge of my seat at times, there were also times when it didn't.

For the majority of the book it appears to be your 'usual' hunt for a killer story with excellent characters, intriguing plot and twists but then it develops into something else which, I can only say, had me reading with my mouth hanging open and wondering if I had stumbled into an alternative universe. I can't go into detail here as it will give the game away but what I will say is be prepared!!

This is a dark and gritty read that you definitely need to keep your wits about you and your mind open and I must thank Random House UK / Transworld Publishers via NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this in order to share my thoughts.
