Peter Shephard (2822 KP) rated The Cry in TV

Heartbreaking
Really, really excellent show, so emotional and such a rollercoaster. The twists were brilliant, and the decent through near-madness, and the depths of despair were heartbreaking.
I cant think of one element of the show which was disappointing, the revelations were extremely well presented and the reveals were excellent.
There was no detail which was overlooked, which I can remember. Even the reveals were visible but hidden, if that makes sense!

Good but not brilliant
While its still doctor who, as a fan myself i think the fact it is ouerly set in america is quite a let down and the fact that overall paul mcgann was techipnically the longest running doctor but has barely had 3 hours pf actual screen time is the biggest let down, the stpey isnt all that amazing but for doctor who fans it is a mist see. Will

Not usually a fan of war films but...
This was amazing, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen for the entire film. It was such a good build up with so much suspense and action involved. The cast were brilliant, one of the only reasons I agreed to watch it in the first place! But I couldn't fault this film at all. I really enjoyed it and so worth a watch.

A worthy adaptation of an excellent comic
A really enjoyable, filthy, dark and funny series. Some excellent portrayals of really twisted characters and a great real world take on what would happen if superheroes were real. A number of liberties were taken (Hughie not being Scottish for one, Karl Urban's accent for another) but all in all a really brilliant TV show that ended too soon, but clearly has so much more to come.
Sarah Betts (103 KP) rated White Stag (Permafrost, #1) in Books

I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was incredible. The writing is at the same time lyrical and cinematic and absolutely breath-taking.
I was thouroughly invested in Janneke's love/hate relationship with Soren and how she dealt with the effects of her horrendous torture at the hands of a sadist.
Brilliant book.

Not as good as original (1 more)
Too much hype for not alot of action
No match on original
Contains spoilers, click to show
To say This film was hyped up is understatement. I was sos excited when it was released but I felt it was so dragged out and then about 20 mins of overall action. This is the problem as they have decided to split it up a brilliant original film to make more profit.

Brilliant
After reading the previous books in this series I started to read this with great anticipation and I was proofed right as I got completely lost in this book from page 1, I was unable to put it down.
The only downside is that there will be no Z is for, after she passed away last year her family decided Y would be the last in the series

Labels (2 more)
Multiple inboxes
Easy controls
Great Interface
I've used a few email apps in my time but none of them have been as easy to use as Gmail. It works just as smoothly on the app as it does online. I love the labels for organising my emails.
The search is brilliant and I can always find what I'm looking for.
Overall the app feels intuitive and is very easy to use.

Carmen Dupre (14 KP) rated Wings by BTS in Music

A brilliant album by the Korean supergroup, BTS. There's an added personal touch in the form of a solo song from each of the 7 members, from the heart wrenching ballad 'Awake' to the upbeat 'Mama'. The album's title track 'Blood, Sweat and Tears' is synthy dance pop with a music video worth watching. All in all, a lot is offered in this album to enjoy.
