So you're my replacements a dandy and a clown
Made to celebrate the first ten years of doctor who and to bring back the first two doctors William Hartnell and Patrick troughton in my opinion it's brilliant it's a shame William Hartnells role was reduced due to illness but still manages to give one last performance. which gives Patrick troughton one of best performances as the doctor showing us he's still got it and his banter with the thrid doctor at first frosty but over time mellowed. Stephen Thornes performence as omega is perfect showing a calm side then madness at a drop of a hat. Also watched in hd which makes it just as good as when it was shown 1973
Barry Newman (204 KP) rated 1917 (2020) in Movies

Whilst a relatively simple story about two soldiers on a journey to deliver a live saving message I found this to be a highly impressive film. Technically brilliant and also quite moving in the human story that it tells and its depiction of the pointlessness of war. The cinematography and use of long takes is very realistic and immersive, you really do feel like you are on the front line. Dedicating the film to his grandfather this is obviously a very personal project for Sam Mendes and the director is at the top of his game here. I found this to be far superior to 'Dunkirk' which whilst also being a feast for the eyes lacked characters that you could actually care about. Mendes manages to get the balance just right and has created one of the best war movies in years.

I understand not everyone likes the same old cheesy American horror but this one has been my top favourite film since I was 16!
Life is great parting drinking and messing with boys but when a stupid prank goes wrong and a guy ends up sticking a tire iron through a girls chest. The main girls help clean up the mess they caused and go on with there lifes. Graduation soon comes and so does a shocking series of events that's leaves behind a trail of body's, no one is safe.
I truly enjoyed this film all the actors and actresses are brilliant! A gripping horror that keeps you guessing throughout the film with plenty of girly bitchyness to keep a bit of comedy to this on the edge of your seat movie! Highly recommended

Yet another of the books from my "to be read" pile and, once again, why oh why did I leave it so late to read this ... what an absolute scintillating read this is!
From start to finish, I was on the edge of my seat ... it's engaging, exciting, thrilling, fast-paced and totally entertaining. Logan is a brilliant character; flawed and damaged but brave and loyal; I was completely drawn into his story and can't wait to read the second instalment, Rise of the Enemy.
If you like Jason Bourne, you will love this and with plenty of action, violence and scenes of peril with a little bit of love interest thrown in, this is a book that won't disappoint.
Belated thanks go to Clink Street Publishing and NetGalley for my copy in return for an honest review.

LaBMaC (116 KP) rated eBay: Buy, Sell & Save Money in Apps

Huge range of goods at reasonable prices (1 more)
Buyer protection
Buyer protection can be abused (2 more)
Ebay supports the buyer almost exclusively over the seller
Fake goods accounts are not shut down
Brilliant for buyers, poor for sellers.
This app is one I use daily for buying. However, if you are selling I have found that:
1) People want something for nothing.. and I mean nothing.
2) Buyers can abuse ebays buyer protection policy
3) Ebay protects buyer over seller.
I would not recommend this platform for selling day to day items. I have sold on it for many years and have watched it change. Although I have excellent buyer feedback I still have to refund buyers who make false or innacurate claims about goods. It leaves you out of pocket and is generally a waste of your time.

Oldie but goodie
Brilliant film! Good story, makes the veiwer question the main woman's sanity.
Gripping thriller about a mother who's struggling to move on from her son passing away in a plane crash, but did he ever exist?? She's seeing phycological therapists, her husband is trying to help her, all she talks about is her little boy Sam, but no one else knows what she's talking about with there being no pictures, he's room is empty and the video tapes blank, she feels like she is going mad and everyone is erasing Sam from there life's but it's not all that simple she isn't mad her bond as a mother is so strong she can't help but remember her little boy. The truth might not be for everyone but I think it's a good film definitely worth the watch!
