Wow what a movie one of the best movies I've seen this an emotional rollercoaster thru the trenches and battlefields of world one one as seen thru the eyes of two soldiers who are on a mission to stop a massacre of British troopeers u hope they can get in time to save his brother. The film is beautifuly shot by Roger deakins in one continuous shot as u follow then around. Probably my favourite movie of year so far

"Hilarious, scary, grotesque, macabre; an opportunity to watch Peter O’Toole not playing Lawrence but still acting brilliantly, in a film that sets out to destroy the myth of British upper class superiority and does so wonderfully, demonstrating, among other things, that O’Toole is a great comic actor when given the chance. It in some ways prefigures Monty Python, but with an edge of real horror and madness that leaves one disturbed for days afterward. Not to be missed, despite some really weird moments."

Third instalment in the 'Night at the Museum' series, which ends on a poignant note with Robin Williams last (ever) on-screen film appearance - obviously not known at the time they would be such - when his Teddy Roosevelt says "Smile, my boy. It's Sunrise".

Anyway, this film sees most of the cast/museum exhibits travelling across to the British Museum, when the ancient Egyptian tablet that causes said exhibits to come to life mysteriously starts decaying, resulting in a race against time to first find out why and then to reverse the process.

I could maybe do without the Rebel Wilson character in the film - like Ricky Gervais character, I just find her annoying (and that's a reflection the characters, rather than the actors), whilst some of the jokes were a bit too slapstick for my taste.

Did enjoy the Hugh Jackman cameo, though!

Cracking Thriller
A very good heist/crime thriller with a very good cast of mainly British actors on show. A role that seems to fit Jason Statham like a glove, playing a cockney East London gangster. He has the chance to pull one last big Bank Job but that is where all his troubles begin. This is a very good entertaining film, that is slick, stylish and a tad raunchy too. It stays very truthful to the 70's period in all manner of ways, which is good to see. This isn't just a good heist film though as the story involves all sorts of double crosses, making it a very good crime thriller to. Make sure you see it.
