Hornet Flight
By Ken Follet
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

On the rocky coast of Denmark, two brothers, Harald and Arne Olufsen are straining against the rigid confines imposed by their elderly parents. Meanwhile, a network of MI6 spies is attempting to decipher an encrypted Luftwaffe radio signal which mentions the new Freya-Gerat - a rudimentary form of German radar equipment. Arne's relationship with Hermia Mount, an MI6 analyst draws him into underground politics, putting him under surveillance by the Danish security forces - and by one man in particular who has a personal motive to see Arne fall. It is only a matter of time before the brothers' paths converge in a united effort to overcome the Nazis. A disused Hornet Moth biplane is their only means of getting a vital message to the British...

Another enjoyable book from Ken Follet. This is set during World War Two a story of spies trying to tip the scales in a war that Germany are winning. I love this era in history it was a really good read. You will love this if you love Ken Follet , war time and espionage.

When Trixie and Honey find a diamond in the gatehouse on the Wheeler property, Trixie is certain that there is a thief around. Could it be one of the new Wheeler servants? We also get to meet Trixie's two older brothers and the five new friends form the Bob-Whites of the Glen. While the mystery isn't strong, the characters are great and this remains one of my favorites in the series.

I have just finished a book called Everless by Sara Holland. It is the usual epic tale of a young woman who is orphaned and finds out she has a hidden destiny. There are of course 2 brothers the one she secretly loves and one who is gruff and hateful, guess who she will ultimately fall for. Saying all that, there are lots to enjoy too. There are some interesting twists and concepts, enough to keep you reading. Currently there is no second book available but I will look out for it.

Trés Horny Boys 4 lyf
I've listened to the McElroy family's 1st D&D campaign, The Balance Arc through at least twice, and it gives me all of the feelings.

It's like reading a really good fantasy series, except you had a full cast narrating and none of them knew what was going to happen.

The boys are now on their second arc, Amnesty. Already I'm feeling in love with these characters. Griffin is such a good storyteller (they all are).

Thank you brothers (and Clint) for the beautiful and hilarious stories.

This book has been on my to-read list for some time both because it is a classic and because it is a favorite of my dads and older brothers. I absolutely loved this book. It was beautifully written and the tone was unique. I greatly enjoyed going on the complicated emotional journey of Montag. The world that Bradbury created was imaginative while also feeling like a possibility for a dystopian future. I loved this book and honestly want to read it again because I feel like each read through would give you more.
