Awful!
All I can say is this just seemed like a rubbish remake of jaws! I found the whole film extremely boring.
As Jason Statham was in the film, i thought it may be quite good as i rate him as a good actor. I was thoroughly disappointed! All I saw was an over sized shark swimming in water and occasionally attacking.
Seriously, don't waste your time!

I don't even know what to say. Victoria's got me in a book funk! I had so many mixed emotions while reading this, I honestly didn't know what to feel. I can tell you that sadness and anger were the 2 prominent emotions. Part of me feels bad for Mare, but a part of me just wants to knock her upside the head and put some sense into her. She's so bitter and cold - honestly, I hate to say it, but I don't think I'd be upset if there isn't an HEA... I believe she's too traumatized to actually live a full life if she even survives.

I went into Regretting You blind, as I do with most of Colleen's books - I definitely don't regret it. While I confess to being super nosy and curious about the letters and what questions they could have answered, I have read Colleen's explanation, I can say I respect her reasoning. I also want to say that I loved how she explored the relationship between mother and daughter, I don't think that's a typical topic. I loved Jonah and Miller, they were both so great in their own ways! I was afraid of this book being a cliché, but Colleen is too good at her job, because none of it felt like any other storyline I've ever read. What a great way to start out 2020!

I was really looking forward to reading this. I have heard and read rave reviews about how fantastic it is so was chuffed to bits when I was provided with a copy from Netgalley via the publisher, Picador, and I settled down to read.
What can I say? Is there something wrong with me? I just didn't get it. I donÂ’t know why but it just didn't grab me at all and, I'm sorry to say, I found it boring so much so that I skim read parts just to get it over with a bit quicker.

If you are looking for a quick binge watch mini-series, this might be right for you. A murder mystery that keeps you second guessing who committed the murder. I have not read the book, so I can't say how closely it follows the story line, but can stand alone.
