MoMoBookDiary (20 KP) rated House. Tree. Person. in Books
Oct 1, 2018
I eagerly recommend Catriona McPherson’s “House. Tree. Person.” as an intriguing 4 star read.
I do enjoy reading Catriona McPherson’s books based in the Galloway region and enjoy following the characters journey’s between the towns that my family spoke of during my childhood.
This book is a good paced thriller filled with so much suspense you just don’t know what the twist is until the very end (or at least I didn’t).
This book was an easy, yet engrossing, read and had me hooked early on. The author tells the backstory at the perfect pace to ensure the reader turns page after page.
Thanks to Catriona McPherson, Midnight Ink and Net Galley for the opportunity to read and review this engrossing suspense novel.

Great actors
The Phantom Of The Opera
This film is one of the classics.
Phantom Of The Opera is a musical, the songs were composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, a very knows British composer that has written a lot of other songs to other very famous musicals (ex: Cats and Evita).
The film takes place is Opera Popullaire and it starts when Christine (the main character), a ballerina, replaces Carlotta, the opera main star and becomes famous due to her signing classes with her mysterious teacher, The Phantom. In the meanwhile she founds her childhood old love and they fall in love again leaving The Phantom heart broken. It’s a romance triangle.
Its dramatic. Emotional. And very worth the watch.

I actually like this movie.

Even though hitman is a movie based off of a video game. I liked this movie. I thought timothy olyphant was a great choice for hitman.
The plot: Raised from childhood by the mysterious Diana organisation, Agent 47 is the perfect killer, but when he is dispatched to kill the Russian president, 47 discovers that his employers have betrayed him. Taking prostitute and possible witness Nika with him, the enigmatic assassin flees from both Interpol and the Russian secret service as he fights to uncover the root of the conspiracy.
To me hitman is a good movie, even though its a movie based off of a video game.
Its still a good movie unlike the 2015 film.

Unlike the 2007 film which to me was really good and underrated. This movie sucks, i forgot that this movie came out. This movie was really bad.

Its confusing, the plot makes no sense and overall anethor bad movie based off of a video game.
Watch the 2007 movie intstead of this one.

Out of this world (pun intended)
Turn on and switch off... Of reality.
Taron Egerton delivers a stellar performance as Redge Dwight evolves into his colourful, camp, outrageous alterego Elton John.
A beautifully made film charting the ups and downs of singer, from childhood to megastar. The script delivers raw honesty and for someone that wasn't completely au fait with Elton's turbulent life, I felt honoured to share in his madness.
A collective mix of musical numbers with backing tracks allow the viewer to bath in the huge catologue of hits.
Stick it on and enjoy solid acting, writing and directing. Taron is brave, vulnerable and as the Rocket an, shows he is set for the stars.
