Hollywood Park, by Mikell Jollett, is an eloquently written memoir of heartbreak, identity, and turmoil. It is the story of a broken boy that grows into a man that wants not only to understand why he is broken but also how to fix the parts that he can. He spent his childhood memorizing and reciting the serenity prayer; as an adult he finally understood the line about changing the things he can.

Slimer - there's always one pointless character to ruin the fun
Classic 80s childhood movie
I can still watch this over and over again without flinching. It definitely hails as one of the tops cult movies for the 1980's, it still has charm, comedy, and a decent enough plot to be played on TVs across the globe on a weekly basis. Inspired to watch it now.

A little silly but mystifyingly engaging
I wasn't sure what to expect with this series after it was described as a retro sci-fi. But actually it was a lot better than expected. It was all your childhood movies - The Goonies, Alien, Ghostbusters - rolled into one. The acting is fabulous and while the story plot is a bit ridiculous, it's rather a fun treat to watch.

This fictional biography follows the life of Alice Liddell. Her childhood friendship with the adult Charles Dodgson gives him the inspiration for Alice in Wonderland. The writing was very descriptive, but I was very creeped out by the way their relationship was portrayed. It doesn't say anything unseemly happened, but it still really bothered me.

An extraordinary take on losing ones self

What a refreshing and deep hitting film. It strikes all the adults that maybe we let the world make uslose ourselves or at least the child Inside. Was a great movie to have various discussions with my son how we should never let go for childhood or at leasthow we shouldtakepridein being ourselves and thatsometimes the hardest answeristhesimplest oritsalwaysright in front of youjustbackwards
