This is a great book that honestly changed how I felt about comics completely. I had never really been exposed to comics outside of the weekly newspaper. Of course I knew the titles that were out there, and I did more than my fair share of watching cartoons and movies based on comic characters, but I didn't "get it." The medium was not mine. McCloud's book gave me the tools I needed to really understand the art of comics. How comics use the blending of art and written word to really present ideas in a unique way that no other art form can really do.
Reading this book opened my mind to a broad range of stories that I never would have read or even known about, some of which are among my most cherished books now.

Not good, not bad.
From start to finish, the film left me with a feeling of nostalgia for the TV show I grew up watching. Familiar characters were reintroduced in a way adult me can process and understand, while still maintaining its comic book humour (Krispy Kreme, am I right?). However, the end result just left me feeling OK. That is the only word I have to describe the feeling I got by the end of this film.

Raising Dion

I've been following the ‘Raising Dion’ project for quite some time now and I am thrilled to see that Netflix has picked it up!

The series is based on commercial and music video director Dennis Liu’s short film about an African-American single mother who discovers her young son has multiple, constantly changing abilities and will also be starring Black Panther’s Michael B. Jordan!

To imagine that this movie is from a comic book is shocking, especially from an iconic character such as the wolverine. Logan has it all and stands on its own, the story was perfectly crafted, the drama was very well felt and the action kicked in all the right places. Hugh Jackmans performance was unbelievably amazing and Patrick Stewart was astonishingly great. This is the wolverine movie that should of been made and you don't even have to be a fan of the genre to love this one.

What can I say about this incredible tv show.Based on the comic book series this series does not hold back on the violence and language (dont think I've ever seen the C word used so much in a TV show) and other extreme stuff that you would never associate with superheroes.

I wont give much away because people may still be watching it or havent started it yet but it's one hell of show that everybody needs to see.
