When I found out that Lauren Graham wrote a book I was was so excited! I mean I love reading and I love Lauren Graham so it had to be amazing, right? From the moment I opened the book I knew I was right. Using her unique humor and personality she guided us through her life from a young age through The Gilmore Girls revival, giving us an inside look on getting into acting as well as working on her legend worthy shows.

It is nice to get an insider's perspective on an industry that has always interested me.

It is also nice to hear about the relationships she had with her co-workers and how they felt coming back without the Richard (Edward Herrmann).

This is one of my all time favorite movies! I will watch this movie anytime it is on tv and will pull out the DVD anytime I want a good movie to watch. The story is motivational and shows the power of family and the power of passion. Mel Gibson's character Ben, starts off as a simple farmer, raising his seven children in the pre-revolutionary war colonies. His son Gabriel (Heath Ledger), sees what is coming and wants to be apart of it. One fateful day, events happen that force Ben into a war he wants no part of. It is a journey that changes all the characters in ways they never expected. I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves historical movies, who loves action movies, and who loves really good movies.

A collection of classic Conan tales, repackaged with a new jacket to tie-in to the new movie coming out. This edition includes:

The Tower of the Elephant (pg 1)
Rogues in the House (pg 27)
The Frost-Giant's Daughter (pg 54)
Queen of the Black Coast (pg 63)
A Witch Shall Be Born (pg 95)
The People of the Black Circle (pg 141)
Red Nails (pg 226)
Beyond the Black River (pg 212)
The Hyborian Age (pg 372)
Cimmeria (verse) (pg 397)

and, to be honest, I'd be more inclined to give the book 1.5 stars (except GR doesn't do 1/2 stars) than 2: I preferred some of my other 2-star rated books, but this wasn't as bad as some of my 1-star rated books either.

I got this nookbook on sale for $1.99. I'm glad I only spent that. I enjoy Great War fiction, and the added dynamic of the Easter Uprising of 1916 made me even more interested in it.
This book started out so slowly, and some of the descriptions felt completely unnecessary. I don't want to read about every time someone let their bowels go when they were scared literally and figuratively sh--less.
The one positive is that I felt like the dynamic of the Irish soldiers coming back to an Ireland they didn't recognize, and that they were considered traitors in some ways because they were fighting with the English.
Never expect a happy ending to a book (or any media) about soldiers in the Great War.
