Unfortunately it was another Rescue story but luckily the story was saved by being a different kind of rescue.
In the begging the toys are once again seperated by a clear out as Bo peep is is boxed, only this time their rescue is unsuccessful....
Eventually the remaining toys are introduced to Forky...who believes his destiny is to be trash? After multiple attempts to escape forky manages to escape during a road trip and and woody goes to recover & rescue him which reunites him with an old friend.....
Bo peep guy's, its Bo peep, don't be too shocked haha...
I enjoyed most of this film but was left unsatisfied with the ending, the original 3 had a solid emotional ending but this although was a nice finish, left me feeling like the real ending was left on the cutting floor.
The introduction of new characters was another nice addition although unnecessary and the big bad was a nice alternative, but it is safe to say that this was indeed a nice way to end things.
(Toys story 5 coming 2025....lol)

LeftSideCut (3778 KP) rated In Search of Darkness (2019) in Movies

It's 4+ hour runtime is a gushing love letter to 80s horror, covering the decade year by year, with interviews from an impressive cast of genre icons - John Carpenter, Larry Cohen, Joe Dante, Barbara Crampton, Doug Bradley, Tom Atkins, Lori Cardille, Nick Castle, Jeffrey Combs, Kane Hodder, Tom Holland, Heather Langenkamp, Don Mancini, Cassandra Peterson, Caroline Williams, Brian Yuzner, and many more!
The documentary doesn't break any new ground, truth be told, but it's hard to not to appreciate all of these films being covered in one place. The sheer amount of titles discussed is pretty vast.
It's put together nicely as well. Old grainy film trailers tend to set the tone of each entry, but all of the footage shown is crystal clear and HD. The graphics are eye catching, with classic one sheets on display throughout, and it's all set too a great synth soundtrack courtesy of Weary Pines.
Really worth checking out - I split my viewing over a few nights and was honestly gutted when I had none left to watch. Director David A. Weiner did a great job with this documentary, and has a second one coming next year entitled In Search of Tomorrow, focusing on the Sci-Fi films of the 80s, and I can't wait to see it!
This old fashioned Netflix original couldn't be more perfect showing every ounce of natural everyday life and problems and how life was for everyone with a secret or goals that were frowned apon.
This starts out following a man and his wife after the war and he is home she falls pregnant but with him not working they are desperate for money and his acting career is yet to start. He manages to get a job at a gas station where he takes his customers to 'dreamland' the program is very cleaver how it introduces the rest of the cast. With people being gay and black it's a struggle for people trying to make it in the big city! It does focus in the gay side quite a bit and gets every side of how life was with the secret parties and how people snuck around. With everyone's dreams coming true they all battle with the real world to get a movie released with a black gay writer and main actress also being black they have alot of people fighting to stop that happening. Brilliant show on how hard it was for people back in the day, very good acting! This is a must see for people who are into a bit of romance and drama!
