Brothers Old Red and Big Red travel back to Texas to figure out who killed the love of Old Red's life several years before. This is the darkest book in the series so far without quite as much humor. But it was still compelling reading for fans of the series.

I loved this book, when I first started it I thought the characters sounded familiar and then realized I read book one a couple of months ago so this was an easy and compelling read. I liked the characters, Erin just goes and grabs what she wants and that includes Jack. It makes a change for the woman to do all the instigating and I found it refreshing.

Worlds apart
This is a book I've now read so often I have owned several copies, just replacing well thumbed pages. Superb characterisation and development, a horrendously plausible premise, and even the stranger parts of the plot feel all too real. Although references and phrases may seem quite dated to a modern reader, the themes explored are pretty universal - ultimately, a disturbingly compelling look at the human condition.

Long awaited sequel
This was an excellent movie, especially in comparison to the original's animation. There was a compelling storyline and characters that helped to to feel invested in the ending. The plot twists are not anticipated until the very last moment and it is quite exciting, especially for the you get age group it caters to. The long wait is finally over and the Incredibles are back with a vengeance.

"The rarest of books about the experience of a science writer uncovering and investigating a cell line that changed the world, all while being thrown into a transformative journey of discovering race and racism in America, the culture of African Americans in the USA, and the painful reality of loss and family. A truly remarkable read—and I failed at science. Fascinating and phenomenal, heartbreaking and utterly compelling."

I generally find thrillers slightly disappointing and somewhat predictable but I found Before I Go To Sleep an enjoyable exception.

It is a creative, innovative plot and you are really drawn into Christine's world living day by day with her.

I found the ending built in suspense spectacularly and found the novel as a whole compelling.

A good page-turner, intelligently written with a good twist at the end.
