The idea of being able to travel vast distances in only a few steps is a compelling one, and it's hard not to imagine that there is at least some work being done trying to discover ways to make it happen. As such, that makes the premise of "The Fold" all that much more believable: that a team of scientists being funded by DARPA has invented a portal that bends space-time to bring 2 points closer together, allowing a person to simply step across and be any distance away in an instant. Of course, something seems not quite right about the goings-on at the lab, and Mike Erikson is recruited to head there and investigate things. I won't tell you what happens from there, and I think the less one knows about it going into the book the better. Let's just say that things don't work out quite the way they want them to, and this winds up being one of the scarier, more suspenseful books I've read in a while. If I hadn't had to work in the mornings, I would have probably stayed up all night reading this one, it's that compelling. Easily the most entertaining book I've read in 2015 so far.

Steppenwolf and Darkseid are cool as hell (2 more)
Cyborg's story is the most worthwhile
Outstanding special effects
The film is way too long for its own good (2 more)
Moments feel excruciatingly slow between action sequences
The film teases what will likely never come to fruition
Zack Snyder’s Justice League Review: A Visually Compelling Drag Of A Director’s Cut
Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League feels like too much of a good thing. He has creative control here, but its execution is this fan devoted emptiness with no real destination in mind. The superhero film is a slow three hour slog to its final fourth hour where all of its best and most entertaining action sequences lie. Cyborg redeems himself as a character, but everyone else fails to really establish their own identity. At least Aquaman gets to surf on a Parademon during a free fall though, right? Justice League is now darker, more adult, and longer with better special effects. Whether it’s a worthwhile experience that can be viewed in one sitting is something each and every viewer will have to decide for him or herself.

Great, strong, teen female role model (2 more)
Fresh take on the fairy tales
Characters you really fall in love with and root for
Some sloppy writing and editing (0 more)
I couldn't put this book down.
I wish this book had been around 10 years ago. It is so rare to find a book with such a strong teen female lead that doesn't end up completely centred around teen love/lust. I loved Briar rabbit and the writing was compelling enough to bring me to tears at the more intense parts of the story. It's a great read that I couldn't put down.

Endearing new characters (1 more)
New quests centered on Verse, Barik, and Lantry Gameplay tweaks favoring non-violent solutions
If you didn't like Tyranny to begin with, Bastard's Wound won't change your opinion, as it's basically more of the same, not counting small gameplay tweaks (0 more)
Tyranny: Bastard's Wound builds upon the excellent world-building and writing of the main game to offer a compelling side-story filled with engaging characters and twists where players choices matter as much as ever before.

This week, I'm doing a Mission Impossible marathon, and I'm fixin' to watch Rogue Nation here in a bit. The MI movies seem to be very solid action/adventure films, and I dig it.
So, prior to watching this film a few days ago, I had only seen parts of it.
I think I liked MI2 more than MI1 actually. To me, the story seemed to flow better, and I really liked Thandie Newton in it. Though, the shtick with the masks is completely irritating to me.
Dougray Scott was a compelling villain, and I think the strongest villain in the series.

this is the second book in the series. the characters are well developed and seem real, the secondary characters seem to bring the story together nicely. there are plenty of hot steamy scenes and they are very intense, which will keep you hooked till the end. the journey that the characters go on throughout the book is fantastically written. this book basically has everything you need in a book, romance, sexy, intriguing and very compelling. i cant wait to read more from this author again in the future.

i used to love the old style adventure games like Myst, Riven and Schizm and this definitely reminds me of these. Its a clever concept where a young boy get washed up on an island and sets out to find out what mysteries the island holds. A lot of puzzle solving that involves moving objects, lining them up, jumping, climbing and also collecting items and artifacts. Its a beautifully designed game with haunting music and a wonderful and colourful setting. I love it and i would recommend it to those that like puzzle/adventure games
