Everything has been leading up to the battle, and the time has arrived...and my heart was pounding quite a bit during those last couple of chapters. I was willing them all to pull through and to kick Valens arse, and they did. Big time! So happy for Alexis and Kieran and co.

That Epilogue has me a little worried. Is there going to be an offshoot series or more of this one?

Movie Favorite

"I’m going to go with Murmur of the Heart, the Louis Malle film. That’s one that I’ve seen in the last couple years that has become a new favorite. It’s about a little boy growing up and his love for his mother and the complication of being a child and becoming an adult and living in that liminal space. That movie really broke my heart and surprised me in just one hundred ways."

"Screw it—I’m breaking the rules. I’m building a ’31 Coupe with my dad right now, all hopped up and ready to steal pink slips. Couple that with a new book I’m working on called Ten Against the World, about teen angst in the fifties, set against big ol’ Jack Kirby–style monsters, and you might begin to see why I hold The Blob so dear to my heart. It’s just fun. Live a little."

"This one is stupid but it’s not. Those [directors], man. What [they] did with color, it’s almost like color didn’t exist before [that]. Color was around a couple years, but that darn movie made it pop. They dance with it. They danced with sound, danced with music, danced with the metaphors of the theme of the movie. I like when it all comes together, and they did a great job with that. Magical."

Just seen at my local cineworld not perfect movie but I found it highly enjoyable couple of hours the best part of movie was the monsters themselves they looked very impressive could have done with more dialogue between the two leads and less said about the music playing over the movie didn't like it but overall liked the movie should go and play the game on my ps4

Hmm...I liked the middle of this more than the beginning or the end. They turned into a really nice happy couple and enjoyed reading their budding romance.

I got Sela's need for revenge but i do think she was going about it in the wrong way. Maybe find something illegal, catch him doing something dodgy, not just go in for the kill, literally.

I'm undecided on whether i want to continue the series.

Although an easy read it was not interesting enough for me to not put down and go and do something else or check my phone every couple of chapters.

Like many other reviews have said, there really wasn’t a difference between the two narrators and I sometimes had to check who’s point of view I was reading from.

Good enough to pass some time, but not one that I would recommend to anyone unfortunately.

This is a fictional book of short stories. Each story focuses on a character and his or her life in a period of time after the earthquake in Kobe, Japan in 1995. I think the book was probably better than I think it was. Honestly, I think I'm thinking too deeply about a couple of the stories, and I'm missing the simplicity. The stories were all interesting on a personal level, though.

This was short and sweet.

I really liked all the guys of the squadron, all the ones we get to know anyway. They all seem really great and supportive of each other.

The gentle romance between Chuck and Davey was cute and I really liked them as a couple.

Gio was awesome!

It was a bit too short for my liking but at the same time it was kinda the perfect length.
