"This taps into my DJing years. It's a techno record which oozes the melancholic, musical tropes of deep house, made by DJ Rolando and Gerald Mitchell, from Underground Resistance in Detroit. I've played this far too much in the car, but it's great in the car. Tracey uses a couple of the tracks on here to power-walk to as well. [laughs] I love that. So if you see her steaming across Hampstead Heath, headphones in, she's probably listening to this!

"It’s a documentary, but I remember liking Crumb a whole lot. When Crumb came out I would go and see it like three times a week; I would be bringing different people to see it. I’d seen a couple of documentaries before, from Errol Morris or whatever, but that, I mean that one took it to a whole other level as far as I was concerned. I just thought it was the most interesting family I’d ever seen in a movie, really."

"Captured used to be my favourite Jenkins romance, but Night Hawk recently took the top spot because its lead couple is just so brilliant. This historical romance follows an infamous Wild West gunslinger turned US Marshall as he transports a feisty prisoner. They prove her innocence, fall in love, thwart various nefarious plots on their journey home, and generally run around being badass. I especially fell in love with the plucky, witty heroine and her completely relatable thirst for revenge."

"And then I would put The Matrix. The first Matrix. Are there any others? [Because of] Neo. And it was just so cool. Everything in that movie made you see how we’re all interconnected; I think that the internet is like a man-made version of, the closest we can come to conceptualizing God. It shows how we’re all connected, and this Matrix is really that more defined. The Wachowskis were just a couple filmmakers who did an incredible job."

I really enjoyed this!

The fact that it just kinda ended at the 95% mark, leaving me needing to know what happens at the party mentioned, may have affected my rating. I cant believe it just ended like that! I need to know what happens between them!

I loved James and Annabelle as a couple and I need to know that they get a HEA or at least get together in the next book. Luckily it's due out in a week or so.

A very original sci-fi classic
If I find myself watching a film at least once a year, then I know it's got to be good. Or at least good for me. This is one of the best sci-fi/horror films of all time. Vin Diesel shines (get it) as Riddick. A character so great, they continued his story in a couple of films. Neither of them come close to this one, sadly. But at least we got this one.
