Typical Tim Burton movie (1 more)
If you're a fan of the book, this may have too many (unnecessary) changes.
I love Tim Burton but I feel like he's been in too much of a rut with his last couple movies and I think that can be felt in this movie. Additionally, I don't feel the changes that were made to the story actually made the film any better. If you're a big fan of the book like I am and you haven't seen this yet, set your expectations a little lower and maybe you'll enjoy it more than I did.

Gaiman wrote this book because he felt adults deserved a story similar to how Alice in Wonderland was written for kids. I love this explanation!
"Dear Diary, he began. On Friday I had a job, a fiancée, a home, and a life that made sense. (Well, as much as any life makes sense.) Then I found an injured girl bleeding on the pavement, and I tried to be a Good Samaritan. Now I’ve got no fiancée, no home, no job, and I’m walking around a couple of hundred feet under the streets of London with the projected life expectancy of a suicidal mayfly."

It was true to the animated classic that we all know and love!! There was a couple of added scenes and some things were altered for the sake of the live action shoot. My favorite added scene was the trip to where Belle was born, it added so much more to the story and the characters connection with each other. I also loved the development of the character Belle, the way we get more depth and background with her versus what we got in the original animated movie story. All in all I have to say was very impressed with the movie!!!

This was so good, I really enjoyed it!! I liked how each chapter was told from the other person's perspective, either Edward or Zoey, and we got to see how each may have experienced the same thing on the same day but differently. This is a story of how two people losing their child have to grieve separately and kind of find out who they are again as individuals before they can come back together as a couple. It took them literally losing in each other in another country before they could truly appreciate what they had. Great read!

I loved this book! Of course there was a ton of science but Weir explained in a way that made is easy to understand. The story itself is intriguing and interesting all the way through. I enjoyed Watney’s positive and sarcastic perspective but also really loved the chapters back in Houston or California, especially before they were all in contact. There were also a couple of chapters written from an unknown POV- it kept me on edge just waiting for Mark to find out and experience what was going to happen! Get comfortable with this one because it’s definitely hard to put down!

This book was SO GOOD. Addictive, engrossing, and yes, twisty! More than once I came to a "wait, what?" moment, and had to flip back a couple of pages to confirm, at which point the "ah ha!" would set in and I'd continue on my merry way. I don't want to give away too much, so I'm being purposefully vague, but the one clear takeaway from this review is that you should add this to your to-be-read pile immediately.

Tough
I took quite a while to finish this book, I had to have a couple of breaks from it. I'm not sure if it's because it's quite old and the style of writing is hard to understand but I found this quite hard to follow. It seems to jump from characters and there's alot of quotation marks missing when needed, again this may be because the book itself was written a long time ago. The actual story is amazing and Oskar risked his entire life to save so many people.

Not just for kids
As much as i love horror films i also love kids films. I had meant to watch this since it came out but i kept forgetting. I finally got around to watching it and i loved it! The story is motivational, watching it as an adult you can see the underlying tone of racism and how Judy (the bunny) gets her dream job and does it wonderfully! I even like how she turned Nicks life around. Even though Judy and Nick are different speices i think they'd make a great couple

Massively under rated
This game is so under rated. It's easy to learn, takes around 4 or 5 games to get the hang of. Each game lasts around 15 mins to 30 mins. All of the cards are nicely made and it's suited to 2 to 5 players. I have played this at the pub with friends as it's easy to carry around. All it needs is a couple of fun expansion packs. There are unofficial fan made ones but I didn't want to try them. All in all a great addictive game to play.
