Final Destination (2000)
Final Destination (2000)
2000 | Horror, Mystery
Released 17 years ago in March 2000, Final Destination revolutionised the teen-slasher genre for 00s after Scream did so well for the 90s generation of horror buffs.

The premise was perfectly realised as high-school students tried their best to cheat death after a horrific disaster. The plane sequence in this film still holds up today and remains one of the best horror moments in the last couple of decades.

The acting on the other hand, left a lot to be desired. Though a young Devon Sawa was a magnetic leading presence.

Omg amazing. I am in love with this series already.. the characters and plot.. I love what appears to be the start of romance between a trio..I honestly have fallen in love with 2 of the guys so I'm not sure which way this will go. I find myself feeling horrible for Shade at some places and in other places I wanted to go through the computer and hurt her. lol And a couple of times I wanted to throw my kindle against the wall. Lol, that is when you know the book is awesome. Starting the 2nd one now woohoo.

I was so lucky to have received an advanced copy through a Goodreads giveaway-thank you!!

I've read all of Lisa Scottoline's books and I can say she did NOT disappoint in this one!! I loved it!

Had I not had a needy 1 year old I would have finished it in a couple of days but alas I had to read at night...Moms yall can relate! :-)

The best thing is that she allows your imagination to run wild with "who did its" and so forth and when you think you have figured it out she still shocks you. Awesome book!!

Never ending challenging fun
I've tried other hidden object games before, but after just a couple times of logging in, I found I was easily bored, or confused by the flow of the game. With Seeker's Notes, I find myself challenged and motivated to play. The levels get progressively harder, but not so drastically that you give up or have to spend a fortune to simply play. The graphics are phenomenal and the game runs with very few glitches. Plus, the support staff are quick to answer questions and help if you do run into problems.

Finn is having very strange and vivid dreams that find him in the Magic Kingdom of Disney World. Turns out it’s a side effect of his status as a holographic host. And he and the other hosts must figure out a way to stop an evil that is spreading through the park. I must admit the most characters were rather weak and plot had a couple big holes. But, Disney fanatic that I am, I couldn't put this young adult novel down.

Cockatiels at Seven (Meg Langslow, #9)

When Meg agrees to babysit a toddler, she just thinks it will be for a few hours. So when the mother hasn't returned by that night, she begins to try to track her down. Naturally, the trail leads to scandal, and dead body, and laughs. I thought this book was stronger than the last couple in the series. The humor was sharper since it focused on the antics of the toddler, and the mystery was better.

Paige Marshall has taken a job coaching a show choir until her big break singing opera comes through. But when a rival coach is murdered, she starts trying to clear one of her students of the crime. The book is fun with great characters, fast moving plot, and gentle humor woven in. Paige took a couple more risks than I felt like she should have, but I enjoyed it and definitely plan to read the sequel.

I have shopped on wish on several occasions. One thing I do love is if you are unhappy with a product or you do not receive your product with will refund your money. I have received a few good items. Most of it is low quality. The jewelry is mostly fake and flakes and looks terrible after wearing it a couple times. The makeup is a hit or miss and the clothing is not true to size. Shipping takes several weeks to several months. Overall okay. Just remember you get what you pay for

So good I've seen it twice...
Absolutely loved this film. Saw it and immediately wanted to watch it again - so wen't back a couple days later and experienced it in 4DX. I really don't have a bad word to say about it. Even if you weren't focusing on the nostalgia bits, it's a fantastic tale translated to the big screen incredibly well. Would be a great note on which to end Spielberg's career if he is starting to think about that
