From the moment I started to read this book I knew I was in for a real treat and I loved every single moment of this book. Vivienne is a young adult who has tragically lost her mom and lives with her grandmother. She unexpectedly stumbles upon a secret that overwhelmingly changes not only her life but how she sees the world around her.

This author's creative and enlightening writing style swept me away into the magic of the past and the present, of good versus evil and of course witches. Unexpected twists and turns that keep you in this well weaved story line with beautiful and strong characters and I look forward to reading the next installment. This is a book that I will be recommending to everyone.

I have no idea what rock I had been living under but I sure am glad that I climbed out from underneath it and read this book because I LOVED IT!!!

Erica is a young woman who is caught up in an abusive relationship but that's not all; her husband Shawn is a vampire. When things finally come to a head for Erica she runs for her life with the help of the very attractive and sumptuous Kevin. However, things are not what they seem and Erica is in for the ride of her life.

The author's creative and sensual writing style does not leave you lacking. The story line is well developed and the sizzling sex scenes will leave you completely breathless. The characters are strong and compliment the story rather well and did I mention the tantalizing sex scenes?! I look forward to reading more books from this author and I HIGHLY suggest/recommend you quickly jump on the Alice Brown band wagon.

I had a hard time thinking about what to write as a review for this book. It is a series of stories about life & love. The stories are well written, but I had a hard time with finishing some of them because they were left unfinished. I found myself wanting to know what happened to the characters. I hate when that happens! That is what led me to the 3 star review...I just couldn't get over the fact that so many of the stories felt like they left me, the reader, hanging.
Don't get me wrong, the stories were creative with engaging characters & the writing was impeccable. The engaging characters is where my hang up really comes in. I'd just get invested in them & then nothing...no ending, no conclusion. What happened to them? Did things work out? That is so frustrating! I guess that's why I'm not a big fan of books such as this one.
