I did enjoy this. It took a while for things to progress into anything that was a little steamy but the tension was raging higher in every argument/exchange between them so it was really only a matter of time.

I was a little surprised by the bundle of energy that appeared a little after the half way point but I do have a soft spot for cute kids in my books.

I'm looking forward to reading more books by the author.

I can see why this is such a popular series with kids. The story is pretty imaginative, or, at least, the characters and environments are. The art is also very cute. It's always great when a series is able to pull kids into reading. Hopefully this series will keep the decent quality up. I realize that this book got some low ratings on here, but as it is a graphic novel series meant for junior readers, I think thar it's off to a great beginning.

When I requested this book I was looking at it as a cute NA romance read. It has so much more depth than that. This focuses more on romance and a connection to God. Labeled as a Christian fiction this book does not disappoint on that front. The main character Reagan becomes closer in her relationship with God in such a way that anyone going through something similar would be able to relate.
While I enjoyed the book it wasn't very memorable for me.

On a whim, Trixie picks up an idol so ugly it's cute. However, when people start following the Bob-Whites and their friends around New York City, she begins to wonder what she's stumbled into. I like the mystery in this book, and the characters are wonderful. However, there is a prophecy that forms a backbone to the plot, and that has always bugged me.
