"The thriller; superstitions, New Orleans, Mickey Rourke, a barefoot Lisa Bonet in soft white eyelet cotton dresses on sandy roads… The sex scene where the blood drips from the ceiling, intercut with the boy on the street tap dancing for change… Ceiling fans."

Can't believe I hadn't seen this film until today, really really good and has some funny moments in it. The opening scene with grout dancing away is quite funny and then to see him as a grumpy teenager at the end - brilliant. Bring on number 3.

Absolutely brilliant film, it will make you laugh, cry and want to sing and dance along with them. Thoroughly enjoyable and just as magical as the first film. My 4 year old loved every minute of it and hasn't stopped dancing since we got home.

"Such a hard stance to take something really complex, turn it into a metaphor, and translate it with light and sound in two hours . [Christopher Nolan]’s just so damned good. I was dancing around the room all, “No he didn’t!” when I saw that movie [laughing]."

I don't know what's scarier, the fact I'm turning 31 next month, or that I remembered all of the tracks to this album in order. Apparently, I'm getting a little nostalgic.

I was a huge NSYNC fan when I was a youngin', and was constantly fighting with BSB fans about who was superior. The songs on this album are catchy, and I've had 'I Want You Back' stuck in my head for the past 4 days now. Pop music used to be fun, and the synchronized dancing was probably one of my favorite parts of NSYNC. (NSYNC was superior regarding dancing in the BSB v NSYNC debate.)

Might be the greatest musical dancical ever!
The singing - the dancing - the chemistry - the songs.

Everything about this film is magical. I could watch over and over again.

I am not a dancer, but this film makes me want to learn. What a classic.

Donald O'Conner's Make 'Em Laugh scene is one of the best performances in all cinema. He was enormously talented and, arguably, even a better dancer than Gene Kelly. I love this classic movie. The storyline falls a bit flat with me but the singing and dancing can't be best.

"It’s Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson, 1973 if I’m not mistaken. It’s basically, he’s out in the desert, singing and dancing. It’s almost a little acid trippy, and yet, within these very campy elements and this big musical production, there’s obviously an impactful story and some great performances."
