1871. An age of discovery and progress. But for the Wainwright family, residents of the gloomy Teesbank Hall in County Durham the secrets of the past continue to overshadow their lives.
Harriet would not have taken the job of governess in such a remote place unless she wanted to hide from something or someone. Her charge is Eleanor, the daughter of the house, a fiercely bright eighteen-year-old, tortured by demons and feared by relations and staff alike. But it soon becomes apparent that Harriet is not there to teach Eleanor, but rather to monitor her erratic and dangerous behaviour - to spy on her.
Worn down by Eleanor's unpredictable hostility, Harriet soon finds herself embroiled in Eleanor's obsession - the Wainwright's dark, tragic history. As family secrets are unearthed, Harriet's own begin to haunt her and she becomes convinced that ghosts from the past are determined to reveal her shameful story.
This started of well but then fell flat for me. I was waiting for something to happen that grabbed me and shook me but it didn’t come. The ending wasn’t what I expected either.

I really enjoyed this I really like this series it’s proper ghost hunting. His was a sad and dark story an so interesting.

Vivianna Sky and Adrian Graves have got a lot of demons to work through with themselves and others. When there is an unexplained phenomenon feeding off the life force of unborn children and expectant mothers, causing their lives and families to fall apart they must do everything they can to stop any more tragedies from happening.
This is book number 2 of the darker desires series, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far and I'm hoping that there is more to come from V and Adrian's story (please Tesla?)
The writing is so smooth it just flows and if I didn't have responsibilities I would of quite happily read this in a day I just wish I could have l the stories at once to read straight after one another.
The battle scenes are extremely well described and graphic and there are some sexual scenes but they are tastefully written and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at any point reading them

I really enjoyed this. It was a fun read with really likeable and unlikeable characters as well as a decent story. The main female character is sassy and funny and of course the brooding vampire is a strong male lead. Yea overall a good quick read. Ends on a cliffhanger though!

This was very good I really enjoyed it. The characters were so well done and I loved the beasts (demons) of hell. The story is really interesting and I’m looking forward to getting more of these sinfully wicked brothers.

What was supposed to be a fun, lighthearted date turns into a shocking discovery about myself. I wasn't ready for this, and I'm not sure I'm up for the responsibility this discovery brings me.
I'm so consumed by the shifter visions in my head, I don't realize how much Connor is hurting. He's walking down a dark path and this time, I'm not sure if even I can save him.
Step right up and take a front row seat to my heart breaking.
I like this series it’s an easy enjoyable read. This did not disappoint at all I literally finished it within 2 hours. We find out what kind of supernatural Melody is and her link to these 3 men is growing stronger. Also those pups are just too cute.
