Amazing visuals
A great, stunning audio/visual treat for the senses! The story though has been done quiet a few times already it has to be said. It didn't feel like a 2.5 hour film. The level of detail and creativeness in terms of the alien planet Pandora and creature design was great. I can understand the hype for this, it does take a lot of things to the next level. It has some great action scenes. However on the whole the plot is not ground breaking by any means. Still one that has to be seen and experienced!

The most recent cinematic take (at the time of writing) of the Robin Hood legend, this is an extremely generic actioner - akin to the recent King Arthur, legend of the sword movie - that attempts to bring the tale to modern audiences.
As such, it touches all the key points - Robin of Locksley, the Crusades, Marian, the sheriff of Nottingham - while also attempting to be more inclusive (John is now a Moor, for example) than that legend.
I'm also not sure about some of the set design or costumes, and Ben Mendehlson (the sheriff) is no Alan Rickman!

A brilliant film in so many ways!! It is so simple with barely any dialogue, but it doesn't need it you can tell what is going on by the actions and expressions can say more than a thousands words with a film like this. It's cute, funny and smart and carries a message about the environment. Technically the level of detail in the animation is amazing and set new standards for all animations. There are slight influences from Short circuit in the design of Wall-e and 2001: A Space Odyssey as well later in the film. Do not miss this film!!
Entertainment Editor (1988 KP) rated Twilight Struggle in Tabletop Games

The Struggle Is Real
Generally when someone in the board game community talks about a “thematic” game, there is a particular archetype they’re referring to–the science fiction or fantasy themed game with minis, elaborate artwork, and the promise of action, narrative, and adventure. Twilight Struggle does not look this kind of game. It’s set in the Cold War, has a functional but not flashy art design, and provides cardboard chits instead of plastic miniatures. However, Twilight Struggle is perhaps the most thematic game ever made.

feels like you are building a castle with blueprints
Incredible balanced, semi puzzle, with competitive aspects, and lots of economic and point scoring strategy.
I love this game, it's so much fun to play, and even has a one player version, my wife and I sometimes play separately and send each other pictures of the final blueprints. it's fun to imagine them actually existing with a bowling alley next to a kitchen and a garden a few feet from a torture chamber. The expansion adds some more fun with new rooms and secret passages.
