Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2544 KP) rated Disney After Dark (The Kingdom Keepers, #1) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Finn is having very strange and vivid dreams that find him in the Magic Kingdom of Disney World. Turns out it’s a side effect of his status as a holographic host. And he and the other hosts must figure out a way to stop an evil that is spreading through the park. I must admit the most characters were rather weak and plot had a couple big holes. But, Disney fanatic that I am, I couldn't put this young adult novel down.

Rachel Howser Roberts (96 KP) rated Disney Heroes: Battle Mode in Apps

Fun battle app with Disney characters
This is practically the same game as Star Wars Heroes and Marvel Strike Force (both also owned by Disney). You build a team of characters and fight five on five to level up and collect more characters. As compared to the other games, this one awards fewer raid passes, so you have to play levels you’ve already played repeatedly to farm materials you need to level up your characters. There are more opurtunities to pit your team of characters against other players teams instead of just battling the computer.

What a beautifully heart wrenching film. I feel that this wasn't advertised nearly as much as other Disney films as it managed to slip under my radar. I thought the outcome of the film was going to be pretty obvious, but then bam! Twist and it's something else. Very good! I loved the colours and the stylising of the backgrounds and details. Disney Pixar have always been quite good at this I find. I did not expect the few scenes before the end and I felt like my heart was being pulled out of my chest. Just beautiful!

I think this is one of the strongest Disney movies. I think the plot is great and the characters are great. Abu is obviously my favorite. It's hard to watch this film, though, because of Robin Williams, but it also makes me appreciate his work so much more. I think he is the best genie and the animations they did along with him pushes him that much further.
The soundtrack to this film is phenomenal and it makes me want to see the Broadway production just to hear the arrangements live. This definitely isn't my favorite Disney movie, but it's a good one,

Fun and engaging adventure story (3 more)
Great characters
Memorable music
Loads of humor
A new Disney hit that delivers in all ways
I was smiling from ear to ear throughout the entire journey of Moana. I may have a bit of bias, considering my own Polynesian roots, but this film was full of moments that gave me chills. It was fun, exciting, and humorous, the way Disney knows how to do best. The animation was some of the best I've seen in a while, from the details of the hair, ocean, clothing, etc., to the amazing colorful island scenes. Everything was just wonderful. The music is some of the better music I've heard from Disney, as it was unconventional and fresh from what they tend to churn out. My only complaint - I wish we got to see more of Pua! He was such a cute character, my wife and I loved every scene he was in! Solid film that I will go back to repeatedly.
