The latest of Disney animation to get the live-action treatment, this ids - obviously - a retelling/reimagining of Walt Disney's first ever animated film, with Rachel Zegler in the lead role and with ex Wonder-Woman Gal Gadot as the evil queen.

And I think Disney were in a no-win situation right from the off, with complaints made about not using those with Dwarfism to play the role of the 7 dwarves, alongside complaints made that said films (and the original) were downplaying their lived-in experience.

Or so I heard, anyway.

I have to say, though ,that the CGI dwarves do stand out like a sore thumb ...

I was nervous about this remake; Beauty and the Beast is my favorite animated Disney movie and I remember going and seeing it in theaters. Emma Watson is not a singer, especially in comparison with the other cast. Luke Evans was savage as Gaston, and almost made him likeable.

Have always loved this classic
Disney never ceases to amaze me. I love this classic very much. The evil step mother is such a villain. And the cat.. Lucifer.. Is such a menace. I love how things come out okay though in the end. All Princes need a Princess.

Just finished watching on Disney + and its really good if you're into this kinda movie which I'm not normally. Frances McDormand who deserved the Oscar for this movie is brilliant I don't think she's ever done a bad movie. Anyway probably won't watch again but thumbs up

Great
Everything is just as great as in previous movies, or maybe even better. New villian. Old enemies become allies. Maybe even friends? Lessons about not letting fear control you, second chances and forgiveness. Disney trilogy for whole family.

RIP Cameron, an amazing and sunny actor.
