Impossible not to love Baymax
There are way too many animated films released every year, and the majority of them are pretty awful. Despite Big Hero 6 being Disney, the trailer didn't really appeal. However after watching it, it's probably one of the best animated films I've seen in the past few years.
The character of Baymax is the real reason why this film excels. He's cuddly, adorable and so funny and matter of fact. Although the rest of the characters are likeable enough, it's really Baymax that makes this film. The plot is interesting and a slightly different take on the usual Disney story of loss and grief, and the animation is unsurprisingly top notch. Its also great to see (hear) Alan Tudyk as usual.
I love drunk/low battery Baymax:

Not so incredible
I'm usually a huge fan of Disney pixar but honestly this film fell short for me. The first two thirds of the film I found rather slow. The plot was predictable. The only relationship or interest I found was Jack Jack powers and then later Edna interactions with Jack Jack and his powers I was also disappointed with Disney not putting strobe warning in the state for the first week and a half of the films release. I have several friend who suffer from epilepsy and had UK got the same time as us and not had warning I dread to think what would of happens. For me this was safe I fly middle of the road nothing to write home about.

I'm probably very bias when it comes to this movie, because I am a huge Winnie-the-Pooh fan, so I probably would have liked it no matter what. Basically, this movie was very much like Hook, only with Pooh bear.
I actually really liked the renders of Pooh and his friends, and how they looked more like the original drawings by Ernest Shepherd, rather than the Disney-fied version. Disney did not decide to go with modeling Christopher Robin on A.A. Milne's son, which, I was kind of ok with.
I thought all of the actors did a really good job. I'm a huge Hayley Atwell fan, and I was sad that she didn't get more screen time. Ewan MacGregor did very well, and his interactions with Pooh and his friends were pitch-perfect.

Ewan mgregor is exceptional here...Obi Wan's still got it
It's super slow until you see pooh (1 more)
If you have seen the Robin Williams classic Hook, you'll probably predict the plot of this movie
Christopher Robin is a great Disney film
Contains spoilers, click to show
This movie is a tear-jerker but it's also a love letter for long time Pooh fans but it is slow movie and a predictable plot too but it doesn't hurt the movie also minor spoilers but in the true spirit of Pooh there are songs in this movie including one by Richard Sherman a Disney song writer staple

It's arguable that Disney take a big risk in making a sequel to one of their most beloved movies (and the one that Walt Disney himself saw as their pinnacle), decades after the original, and with a different actor (Emily Blunt) taking on the role most associated with Julie Andrews.
And, while it's enjoyable enough, this doesn't really hold a candle to that original, despite Emily Blunt giving it her all (and, from what I remember, portraying a somewhat 'softer' Mary Poppins).
The structure is pretty similar to the first film, complete with a last-minute rush to the bank, with the film again focusing on the Banks family: the 2 children from the original now grown up, with worries and a family of their own providing the McGuffin that gets Mary Poppins to return.
