"I'm a big John Waters fan and re-watched Pink Flamingos recently. I love his trashy unpredictability and child-like desire to shock at all costs. Divine is a cinema great. I was watching it with some people who I didn't know too well... it's a good way to find out if you're going to get on or not."

"Melville has been hailed as the father, or godfather, of the French new wave. In fact, he was a classical filmmaker, telling his gangster stories in linear fashion, but with the highest quality control where acting and locations were concerned. Rain-slick streets belong, by some kind of divine right, to Melville, just as rivers belong to Renoir."

"Female Trouble, 1974. John Waters. And this may be my very favorite John Waters film. Divine is hilariously divine, and the other actors include fabulous Waters favorite, Mink Stole, Edith Massey, and an old friend of mine, the always iconic, Cookie Mueller, who we lost quite a while ago. But as time goes by, for me, John Waters becomes more and more important as his work echoes through our culture. What is so particular and striking for me about John Waters is that no matter how perverse and weird his themes and characters may be, his films are never ever mean spirited. There’s some kind of naked celebration of human nature and its ridiculousness. And John Waters is such an uplifting and remarkable person. I mean where would we be without him?"

Witchy Short Stories
I received a read and review copy from Netgalley for my full honest opinion.

Overall, this was a great read. Some parts were completely terrible while others were absolutely fantastic. I would only reread parts of this novel as certain stories are better than the others but all in all, it’s a 4 star read.

Perfect for Pagan parents (2 more)
Great illustrations
Uplifting story
Wonderful book for a Pagan mother to read to her kids, it's a lovely rhyme, I especially loved
"She believes love can heal with a power that's divine,
So she kisses you better to make you feel fine.
Her magic is ancient, her wisdoms not new;
It was used by her mother and grandmother too"

And the illustrations fit it perfectly. My son grinned all through it!

Just like the previous two in this Divine Comedy, this epic poem was very insightful.

I have enjoyed being able to look back on the other two and see all of the connections between the three books. Seeing the difference between the poet and the pilgrim versions of Dante was pretty cool too!

You definitely have to make sure to read this one a lot slower because it is much more dense than the other two, so be warned.

The words of 'Human' says it all
A fantastic voice which express the words which inturn have a deep meaning within themselves. It's nice to be able to hear the words and to realise they have such a deep impact. The music and beat help the words to be expressed in such a melodic manner too. His voice is divine too!!
A fantastic artist, can't wait to hear more.
Thank you for sharing such brilliance with us.
