Let me stay off by saying I am a huge fan of Stephen King! This show takes place in Castle Rock, which is where Shawshank prison is. The show is about 2 boys, one black and one white, who are claiming to be the exact same person. It follows these 2 characters through life to how they got where they are today. On the show there are several references/easter eggs to other Stephen King book and movies. It was a really good watch but you have to pay close attention to follow the story properly.

Not unless we want to pay through Amazon for Hulu I think?

I heard somewhere that it might possibly end up on C4/All4 in the UK. But that's only because The Handmaids Tale ended up there and that's a Hulu show too? I'm not really sure, but I'm also dying to see it so I hope it gets picked up by a service which doesn't involve yet another subscription fee!

Could not put it down
My boyfriend made me read this as it's his favourite book. I was a bit sceptical as it didn't seem my thing but I couldn't put it down.
It's about a kid who spends his life in the virtual reality oasis on the search for an Easter egg that will grant him the keys to the game he plays and lots of wealth.
Full of pop culture references and lots of action it is the perfect books for all the nerds out there. Don't bother with the film. As usual the book is miles better.

Merging sci-fi with religion might seem an odd combination, but this novel takes the approach what would happen if the Vatican had proof of extraterrestrial life, with that proof coming in the shape of two eloping aliens who have crash-landed in a small island of the coast of Ireland, just in time for the new Pope's Easter address when he is stumped for ideas.

While it raised a few smiles, it also unfortunately never really raised a chuckle or any deep profound thoughts: this, I found, to be the type of book to read, enjoy, and move on.
