fantastic
Instant Family is an instant hit. This movie is so funny and has such a good story. Great cast. This is an hilarious movie with elements of depressing, sad, and funny parts, i could be laughing one minute and crying the next, loved how they took 3 kids in and even through the troubles and hard time stuck together. The youngest child is so funny and reminds how most kids her age can act if dont get their own way, will be watching this movie again at some point. highly recommend for people to watch, its got to be the best comedy so far that i have watched.

Returning home the Enterprise crew find Earth under attack from a probe transmitting a strange signal. Discovering what the signal is, the crew now on board a Klingon Bird of Prey, after the Enterprise was destroyed in the last movie, must travel back in time in order to save Earth. Back in 1980's America, they must acquire some Humpbacked whales and repower the ship, to return back, to their own time. The movie has some comical elements as well as some educational, it's a fun story that is not only entertaining, but also opens your eyes to some very real subjects of the modern world.

Aniston’s immediately recognisable accent works very well in animation and voice-over performances, but she hasn’t had as much success in this genre as perhaps you would’ve thought. Outside of the Storks and 1999’s The Iron Giant, she hasn’t ventured into animation at all.
Storks is a fun little movie that works well with its brilliant voice cast. Aniston plays an overprotective mother and while her role is slight, she plays it excellently. What works so well here is that we can almost here elements of her character in Friends as she converses with her children.

Suswatibasu (1703 KP) rated The Chalk Man in Books

Unnerving thriller with lots of different threads
While elements of this psychological thriller seem far-fetched, there's something ghoulish and almost Stephen King-like in its approach.
Following the narrative of Ed, the teacher recounts his childhood with his friends and the time they found the dismembered body of a young woman. In the meantime, chalk drawings keep appearing, and take a life of their own.
While the ending is startling and worth listening to the finish, at times the back and forth narrative from past to future becomes convoluted and can be hard to keep track, let alone concentrate. A good thriller, but with a lot of loose ends.

Wonderful variety but something missing
This is an interesting literary debut from Zinzi Clemmons, with many semi-autobiographical elements discussing her heritage.
Thandi, a girl of mixed race, has to endure taking care of her dying mother, all the while battling various social aspects of living as a daughter of a South African and an American parent. Written in different formats, from a text message to hip hop lyrics, Clemmons explores the rich tapestry of her life and layers it with various threads.
While I mostly enjoyed this story, I do feel there is something missing and could have been weaved together a little more clearly.

Good Horror Premise
A fun idea for a new slasher premise, at least 3 sequels were made. The SFX do look a bit dated now and the gore effects, along with a lot of elements to the film do look a little low budget. With Wes Craven as exec producer and starring Robert Englund and cameos by Tony Todd and Kane Hodder adds a few nice touches for the horror fans. Andrew Divoff plays the evil Djinn very well and with a dark sense of humour. It is a bit cheesy but has a certain charm to it, one for gore fans and horror buffs will enjoy it more than most.

Feels like a throw back to 90's action films
Bloody good
You have to have an open mind for this type of film. The first was a classic and the series along with Avp has gone down hill mainly since. Although @Predators (2010) was OK.
This has a vibe more in keeping with the original. Gory kills, the humour and camaraderie of the soldiers. Along with the finale. The action overall is pretty good. The only downside is the rather silly storyline at times and the Predator dog. A film to enjoy rather than take too seriously.

What is there not to love about this film??
Living in a house with a family of boys/men who LOVE Marvel and all things related to the Marvel Universe, I was coerced into watching this film and was more than pleasantly surprised.
I love the chemistry between the actors and the relationship they have with the CGI elements of the production and one another. I love the interactions they all have with one another and look like they truly love their job which then makes the picture look effortless.
I'm sure I will be back for the next installment if there is to be one. ??

It is like you are actually in the book
I bought this book in Asda as part of a 2 for 7 deal when it first came out. Once I started reading it I could not put it down. I felt like I was transported into the book and was travelling with Jess during his adventures
Two of my favourite characters are Morgan and Wolfe because they each bring their own elements into the story.
I am currently reading the fourth book in the quadrology and would say it is on par with the Harry Potter series as my favourite books ever!

Not having seen the original I wasnt sure what to expect here and only seeing this within the last few weeks has persuaded me to take another look at westerns.
Although a little muddled in places which could be deliberate as the good guy is considered to be bad and the bad guy played by Russel Crowe shows the briefest elements of good considering he kills incriminately at the opening of the movie.
The plot is also quite improbable at times however this is smoothed over by great moments of tension and action.
It's a good movie but not a great one, but entertaining enough for me to revisit the genre.
