A very good Slasher series
I finally got round to seeing this series. I'm a big fan of Scream so it's interesting to see how this compares. It's very good and feels like the film in many ways. Wes Craven was an executive producer, so that probably helped.
Self aware as always and even mentions the difficulty of doing a slasher series. It maintains momentum quite well. There are plenty of twists and red herrings as to who the killer is. Maybe could have been a couple of episodes shorter. Overall though if you are a fan of the film you should enjoy this.

This was a very quick, easy-to-read story that crossed over a lot of different genres. Not to be taken seriously as the author has mentioned, it's still enjoyabale. I feel like Jade Cooper has a lot of potential with her storytelling; however, there were a lot of grammar errors in the copy I was given. I also saw elements of fanfiction (which isn't surprising given that it features werewolves and vampires with some erotica mixed in.) I would recommend this to mature adults who need a fast novella to get out of a reading slump.

*Although I did receive this book for free through Goodreads First Reads, all of my thoughts and opinions are my own.

I like some of their music but I’m certainly not the biggest Queen fan even so I still found plenty to enjoy here. It doesn’t do anything particularly new with the music biopic movie formula and it does shy away from some of the darker elements of Freddy Mercury’s personality. Where it succeeds though is in its leading man, Rami Malek is outstanding as Mercury. Charismatic , flamboyant and dominating every scene that Oscar was certainly well deserved. Ending the movie with an exact reproduction of Queen’s iconic Live Aid performance was also a smart move showing the band and Freddy at their best and sending me away to add Radio Gaga to my Spotify playlist.

different take on the whole spooky universe
one thing i noticed with this show was it had some different elements to it than the standard witch and werewolf shows. IT was interesting and i will be looking forward to season 2, my only issue was i felt like it was really dragging, certain moments felt like hours instead of minutes and some weird useless information was brought in that had nothing to do with the story line.
Even saying that i did enjoy myself while watching, a friend of mine works on set and it was cool to see the other side of the set in stead of what i just saw.
