Modern version isn't embarrassing (4 more)
Keeps the heart of the Samurai film alive
Lovely depiction of a samurai village
Tom Cruise is quite good
Epic Scope versus a small feel.
A great modern samurai film
I didn't expect a samurai film with Tom Cruise to be any good, but this one is great. Solid casting, great story, and even great action. But with beautiful moments of quiet. Which really is the samurai way. I love the depiction of the village, with everyone perfecting their respective crafts.

I finally got around to jumping on this bandwagon, and I can say I am very glad I did. The writing may not be as pretty or elaborate as some authors have been tending towards lately, but that doesn't in any way detract from this epic tale. The characters are all engaging (if not always particularly likable), the settings always imaginative, the histories well thought out, and the plotting twisty and exciting. An excellent book that has definitely got me hooked on the series.

Partying in the modern age
Andrew W K took some time out of music to become a motivational speaker and learn some new tricks.
This has a grand epic sound compared to his debut album (I Get Wet).
Still sounds like a party but has elements from 70s prog rock (without the infamous solos) and the pseudo spiritual influence is thankfully not religious.
The songs are interspersed with a few short motivational speeches which mainly serve as positive self help interludes.

This book keeps you gripped from the very beginning, in some ways it shows the true nature of our world at its finest, shoot first ask questions later. Some people just want to watch the world burn like the characters in this book. It was an epic read if not a little long, but the development of the characters and the twists throughout the book keep you turning the pages, wanting more.

10 years and they punk us out with time travel
I’m not going to lie, this was the epic conclusion to a 10 year saga and I couldn’t wait. I hoped and hoped they return to the heights after a fairly nothing movie in infinity war.
However they used some lazy storytelling techniques to fix there MCU problems and lost me. Was I entertained?? Yes I suppose I was but I was expecting to be blown away and no I wasn’t!!!
