In Lisa Gardner’s next thriller following her runaway New York Times bestseller Find Her — Right Behind You sees the return of (now retired) FBI Profiler Pierce Quincy and his wife Rainie Conner who have now adopted Sharlah. Several years ago her older brother Telly Ray Nash killed their drunken father to protect them.

But when it appears that Telly has killed again, this time it can’t be for her protection, can it? Especially as it is later discovered he’s also killed his foster parents.

This story is a lot slower than other Lisa Gardner books. I still enjoyed it, but as the story unravelled I found myself more drawn to the relationships of families involved – the abuse that went on – the secrets and lies. It’s like the author has gone from fast-paced FBI police procedural crime novel to a character driven story. Nothing wrong with that, it’s just not what I expected.

Rainie and Quincy still make a great couple, the writing style is enjoyable and easy to read. It may be light on the FBI profile and police procedural aspects, but
Right Behind You still made for a great read because the characters were so endearing, and quite often physically and emotionally vulnerable.

I’m interested to see what Lisa Gardner’s next book (comes out Feb. 19 2019) titled NEVER TELL, is going to be like. It apparently features Detective D.D. Warren joining forces with vigilante Flora Dane to investigate the murder of known associate of Flora’s infamous kidnapper.

Say Who You Are
Honest Thief- is a good crime action thriller. It has a good cast and a good plot.

The plot: Hoping to cut a deal, a professional bank robber agrees to return all the money he stole in exchange for a reduced sentence. But when two FBI agents set him up for murder, he must now go on the run to clear his name and bring them to justice.

I do recordmend watching this film.

"A discontented FBI agent turned Long Island housewife, with a troubled cop father, a sweet stepdaughter, a husband who’s almost too good to be true…and a neighbor whose actions seem suspicious. Is Corie just being paranoid? Or has she stumbled onto a genuine crime? This mystery’s got a gripping plot and a witty, funny heroine whose internal monologue is charming and smart, whether she’s musing about life in the suburbs or the man who got away."

Better than the film
I've always liked the limitless premise however for me the movie didn't work that well. I was dubious to watch the tv show but a friend convinced me it was worth doing.
The first episode took me a while to get into mainly because I'm so used to Jake Mc Dorman play Evan in Greek it took a while to adjust to seeing him as Brian Finch. That being said when I got into it I really enjoyed the show.

Brian Finch is a lovable character who has a kind heart but gets into trouble and Rebbeca Harris is just the FBI agent who has the sternness to keep him in check but also the capability to care which makes the team work well. The side characters in the FBI are intresting and amusing poor Mike and Ike ( not there real names but names finch make up.) End up with the rough end of the stick more than once the Janitor is a little hard core.

The Day Shall Come (2019)
The Day Shall Come (2019)
2019 | Comedy
Offbeat comedy-thriller from Chris Morris never quite coheres when it comes to raising a laugh or making a serious point. It feels like the story would have been more topical ten years ago: essentially it's a critique of the FBI for entrapping relatively harmless individuals on spurious terrorism charges, simply for the kudos and publicity involved - offering to give people guns and then arresting them for possession of firearms, for instance. In this case an unhinged Miami cult leader's need for cash results in him getting mixed up with the police and FBI.

Well, there is potential here, I suppose, but on this occasion Morris never quite shakes off the lingering traces of his background in TV comedy to make something that feels like an extended cinematic narrative, and too often the story is silly rather than funny. The story feels contrived and a bit manipulative, too. Anna Kendrick works incredibly hard to lift the material she's given, but in the end the film is wildly uneven and seldom more than mildly amusing.

Pete Koslow, an ex-convict finds himself working for the FBI as an informer who has infiltrated a large Polish drug smuggling ring. When a delivery goes bad Pete finds that both the FBI and the Polish gang want him to go back to prison to do one last job.
I have to admit, I didn't really know what to expect from this film, I’d seen the trailer once but that was all, but I was bored and it was the only film I could get to on time so I’m happy to say that I really enjoyed this. The film runs at quite a fast pace with building tensions and emotional family scenes. The plot isn't overly complicated but is interesting enough to keep you entertained. The Informer also doesn't rely on lots of blood and gore. The only real downside was, due to the pacing, it's some times hard to keep track of how long something g has taken, for example I found it hard to tell how long the events in prison had taken.

This was a movie that, while I had no real plans to see it in the cinema myself, if somebody had asked me to go along with them I probably would have said "aye, why not?" to.

In this, Nic Cage plays a fictionalised version of himself who is thinking of giving up acting and then accepts a 1 million dollar pay-day from a superfan (the internets current BFF Pedro Pascal) to come and visit him for his birthday celebrations, unaware that the FBI believe that superfan to be a drug kingpin and with the FBI then suborning Cage to spy on said fan.

The rest of the film then plays out as a sort of buddy comedy, with Cage and Pascal (not all as he seems) then finding themselves caught up in various, sometimes ridiculous, situations and as they start using their experiences more and more towards the plot of a film that Gutierrez has dreamed up for Cage to star in.

So, yeah, better than I was expecting and it did even make me laugh once or twice!

I’m hoping season 2 will be faster paced because they’ve gotten a lot of the back story out of the way. By back story I mean how the FBI became involved in this study and why. Either way I really enjoyed the show. Psychology has always been very interesting to me, especially the psychology of those who do horrific things.

Hopkins and Foster deliver a suspenseful thriller about a serial killer who is helping the FBI in tracking down the daughter of a US senator who has been kidnapped by and unteachable serial killer. The solo interactions between FOster and Hopkins get under your skin cause they are so dark at times. Hopkins character leaves such and impression it makes us want more and the movie does spawn 3 more movies about Hannibal Lechters life
