What a fascinating movie. Scorsese does a phenomenal job with an intriguing plot and a storyline that will cause viewers to question everything that they are watching. The tangled web of lies and deception climaxes in a fantastic ending. Could have used less swearing.

"And [lastly] probably The Gold Rush, or City Lights, by Chaplin, because they are absolute pinnacles of filmmaking. You have precision comedy, precision filmmaking, and one of the best directors ever. He and Buster Keaton were fantastic, and they were two of my idols."

I've been sleeping on this movie like a struggling musician on a friend's couch. Inside Llewyn Davis is a fantastic snapshot from the Coen brothers of a folk singer in the 60's trying to make it in New York. Wonderful soundtrack and film.
