Best messaging app
The vast amount of WhatsApp users means it is really easy to keep in touch with people from across the world! Its no-nonsense format means it simple to access, without having to go through a labyrinth to get to the main messaging body. The group system is fantastic, and the mute button - even more so. And there's no problems with sending videos, images, audio and documents.
No muss, no fuss - a grown up service.

This young adult fantasy is well written, keeps your interest and is full of action. I certainly enjoyed the romance between Rose and Rayce as it was a sweet love. This author is off to a fantastic start and I'm hoping there's a second book!!

Cath is relatable. (2 more)
Draws in young adult readers but also allows "older" adults to relate.
Made me fangirl Rainbow!
Fantastic Teen Fiction
Rainbow Rowell knows how to relate to young adult readers and how to get "older" adults to reflect back and see themselves in the characters' situations. This book made me fangirl Rainbow so bad! Cath and Wren are twins trying to create their own paths as they step into adulthood. Cath struggles along that path
Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated Schasm (Schasm, #1) in Books

[Shari J. Ryan] did a fantastic job of character development in [Schasm]. This is a very character driven novel that keeps you guessing. Chloe's struggle with her "illness" and even more so with her mother is the center of this story. It gets even more complicated when Alex enters. I still am not sure what is the truth in this book but it left me wanting more. It is a nice non vampire, non sex driven YA romance twist.

Well this book started off a bit on the slow side...not like King normally. But let me tell you, once the story got rolling it was hard to put down! And in true Stephen King fashion the ending was fantastic!! My jaw hit the floor & I found myself thinking, "okay, so when does the next book come out!?" The characters are true & real. The plot itself could easily be ripped from the headlines. I can't wait for more!
Sarah (7800 KP) rated Ex Machina (2015) in Movies

This is one of those smaller films that can quite easily pass a lot of people by. For me, I knew little about it and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. There are some strong performances from a very small cast, Oscar Isaac's dancing can't fail to make me laugh. The visual effects are fantastic, although my only issue is that the ending wasn't entirely unpredictable. However it's still a very good, tense, interesting film.

Terrifyingly Good
This film is a classic. An excellent example of a sci-fi horror and probably Ridley Scott's best film. The Xenomorph is one of the scariest creatures in film today, everything about it is terrifying and paired with the tense confines of a spaceship, is the stuff of nightmares. There are some fantastic visual effects for the time, great cast performances and who doesn't love Jonesy the cat? One of my all time favourites.
Sarah (7800 KP) rated In Bruges (2008) in Movies

Great black comedy with serious elements
This is one of those smaller films that comes out of nowhere and ends up being very enjoyable. It's mostly a black comedy but with some serious and sombre overtones. It's got a fantastic cast, by far one of Colin Farrell's best films and Ralph Fiennes is great as bad guy Harry. It's well written with some brilliant dialogue, and the setting in Bruges is just beautiful. Never fails to make me laugh.
