this is the fifth book in the series and can be read as a stand alone book. this is the first book by this author that I've read and I'm hoping it wont be the last. the characters are brill and have fantastic hot chemistry between them. you will end up falling in love with the characters as you read. the characters have relationships issues that they have to work through. this is a well written story that you wont want to put down till you get to the last page. i cant wait to read more from this author in the future.

OMG, what can I say about this book. it was such a good read, I just couldn't put it down till id got to the last page then I was left wanting more. this author has a fab way of writing that just has you captivated with the story and the characters. this story has it all, badass bikers, tough women, plenty of drama and some very emotional scenes. I loved everything about this book, the characters were fantastic, the story was page turning and the emotions within the story. this is definitely a must read book.

Ryan Hill (152 KP) rated Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) in Movies
May 9, 2019
The cast particularly, Eddie Redmayne as Newt scamander, Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore and Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald
Opening action sequence was cool.
Cgi was fantastic (1 more)
The world feels magical and the nostalga of being back in the wizarding world is always beautiful.
Grindelwald was underused considering it's called The crimes of grindelwald.
The plot was messy and sloppy. Too many flashback sequences including two back to back sequences that lasted 20 minutes (1 more)
The big plot twist/reveal at the end makes no sense from what i know from the Harry Potter lore.
Lack of Continuity
Action sequences weren't that impressive
A disappointing entry in the Harry Potter franchise

Being only 139 pages, this book may be short, but the impact it had, was enormous. This is an extraordinary memoir of a man who had a stroke and was left unable to move or talk. He dictated this novel to someone, using eye movements to indicate letters on an alphabetic board.
Whilst this book doesn't have a linear story as such, this is a beautifully written novel about the writer's day to day experiences in the hospital he is being treated in and, in the most mundane or saddest moments, there is humour and insight. This is a very interesting and poetic novel.
My Rating ****

Movie Metropolis (309 KP) rated The Avengers (2012) in Movies

Avengers Assembled is a film filled with amazing performances, great special effects and fantastic direction from long-time comic-book fan, Joss Whedon. He manages to craft a great film and considering the size of the cast, that’s no easy feat.
It lets itself down throughout the finale in which the audience is subjected to a Transformers-style alien invasion across New York City that could have been lifted straight out of any Michael Bay-directed flick. A great end to Phase One of the MCU, but not the classic everyone remembers it being.

Well... I've given this book 3/5 for one reason only... I'll clue you in at the end. The lead hero, fantastic. The heroines friends - amazing. The heroine herself... I wanted to shake her. :-\
Yes... Her parents are shitty towards her. Yes, she got abused. Bound to feel emotionally vulnerable. But theat she dropped with self hatred, pity and constantly over reacting to everything made this book a chore.
Only finished it because I wanted to know what happened to Ryan - the hero.
It was fantastically written otherwise, both in terms of vocabulary used and the way it was well polished.
Kind of enjoyed it even though it exasperated me.

Absolutely fantastic. A beautiful showcase of how our decisions shape our lives, and how hope and acceptance can make all the difference.
When I read My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry, it was an instant favorite.
I read this because I enjoyed that book so much, but I didn’t expect at all for this book to become a favorite as well. At this point, I’d read the author’s grocery lists if he publishes them. His books give me exactly the feelings I look for from a book, where you can curl up and lose yourself in the emotion.
I completely recommend it.

The attraction between Pim and Elder continues to grow and spiral.
In this book we learn a lot more about Elder which is just fantastic, however that comes with a price and that is the ending to this book. There was nothing wrong with it apart from it was not what I wanted to happen.
It is interesting to see Pim and Elder continue to fight with themselves as they try to decide what they want, how far they will go to get it, and ultimately what they are willing to sacrifice.
I am still loving this series and have already started book 4.

Great stunts (1 more)
Brilliant car chase
Another hit MI film
I really enjoyed the last MI film Rogue Nation and thought that was a very high standard to beat. I would say this is nearly as good almost level with that film. It is a long film but the huge action scenes, chases, stunts and fights make the film fly by. The car and bike chases in Paris are epic! Good to see it follow on from the last film. There are only a couple of minor issues with predictable plot elements. Otherwise this is a fantastic action film, a true blockbuster.

I Love a Book is done well. I love the pictures and it keeps me fantastic. Young Children would love looking at the pictures for hours. It would keep them to turning the page. The story is sweet as well. I believe it rhymes and make it more of a poem for parts of it.
The author does a wonderfully with it. It also might about the author when he was a young boy. You have young children that love books will this book talk about books throughout. It great for readers and parents but also for children that want learn about books a bit as well.
