Brilliant
This has to be one of my favourite funny series. The whole story and situation is brilliant beyond compare. Its heart-warming to see the characters grow after such a horrible start to the story.
Each individual character is fantastic in their own right. Jonny is stoic, hilarious and a real business man. David has the BEST dress sense ever, is kind hearted, quite naive and silly. Alexis is gentle, silly, naive, it's a shame she didnt get a better ending. Moira is something else, I have never laughed at someone for being so annoying! Her voice is amazing and her GIRLS are phenomenal. This family just come together as a hilarious dynamic group and I love it.
Roland and his wife are fab, love the pun in their names. The very final scene of the last episode really made us chuckle.
This is an absolute treat to watch and I'm tempted to start it all over from the beginning. I can see this being a family name in years to come

I wouldn't say I loved this book but it is definitely a fantastic thriller. It's full of twists and is a rollercoaster of emotions the whole way through. The reason I say I didn't love it is simply because I had an idea of the big twist soon into the book but that may be because I read a lot of thriller books and enjoy puzzles.
There is also no real explanation into their decision to become homicidal weirdos disguised as a regular married couple.
However, I did enjoy reading it. I still found myself hanging onto every word, holding my breath trying to guess what was happening next. There is many twists throughout the book that I didn't see coming aswell. I couldn't put it down!!! Despite knowing I should give myself a break to collect my thoughts and calm my nerves.
It was very well written and I will be buying her new book which I believe was released last week! Thank you Smashbomb for the giveaway and allowing me to find this hidden gem!

Supernova ( cursed book 3)
By Meg Anne and Jessica Wayne
Love is the only light Skye Giovanni can find during the darkest moments of her life.
Kidnapped, tortured, and cut-off from everyone she loves, it won't be long before even that bright spark burns out.
Detective Lucas MacConnell is not used to losing.
A master at piecing together the clues others often miss, Lucas is backed into a corner when the Druid manages to trick him. Now he's unsure how to keep going when it feels like he's already lost.
The stakes are higher than ever before, and each moment that passes puts their enemy closer to meeting his goal.
Their lives are the only thing standing in his way.
I have loved this trilogy I’m fast becoming a fan of both these authors! We finally see this foursome get an happy ending! It was hard fought for and fantastic to read I think this is the first book Series I’ve read based around druids and gypsies and I really enjoyed it!

BookwormLea (3034 KP) rated Kinky Boots in Theatre Royal (Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom) in Shows

Not as good as West End or Broadway but still fantastic!
Every now and then, a Kinky Boots song appears on my Spotify shuffle. I'm particularly fond of Land of Lola and Raise You Up. The costumes, the songs, the energy! It was so brilliant! We were on our feet the whole time! It was like watching a live Drag Show and I'm already a huge fan of Rupauls Drag Race. Lol was played by Kayi Ushe, a stunningly tree of a man who made the most gorgeous Lola. His voice was entrancing! And Charlie was played by Joel Harper-Jackson, and was absolutely perfect in playing a shy awkward man who turned into a confident sexy shoe maker! And I only remember her because she was on Corrie but Paula Lane played Charlie's love interest. Overall it was a brilliant show and as much as it may have been better on Broadway or the West End, I'm proud to have watched it in my home town and support the fabulous actors!
