This is what I would call an epic adventure through different worlds. Starting from page 1 you are thrown in, quite confused, into a new world. In this new world pretty much anything you believe or can dream up can show up. Step in a teenager who doesn't believe in magic and a little girl who believes with her whole heart and you have a book.
I enjoyed the world building and the fact that this was not like any book I had read before. The fantasy and characters were unique but there were a lot of them to keep track of.

Introduction of new heroes and villains and it expands on existing characters in novel ways (0 more)
Another great read
Love magic? Love fantasy? Try the Dresden Files.
This novel, the 4th in the series, has Harry Dresden facing new enemies, making allies in the strangest of ways, and generally making himself a pain in the ass to all manner of authority (mortal, magical and faerie).
Without giving too much away, this book introduces some wonderful new characters whom Harry will help, hinder and smack down in all manner of ways.
Worth owning to read and read again.

Oh my god!! If you have not picked this up and you like fantasy novels, do it right now. Stop what you are doing and read this book!!! It is full of badassery, not too much romantic stuff, and magic. In the battle to find out which person will be crowned the King's Champion, lots of mystery and intrigue happens to our main heroine, Celaena Sandorthien. What is even cooler about this, there are pronunciation guides in the back of the book (at least in the paperback edition). I can't wait to start on the next one!!

"My mother gave me this book to read in high school when I was sick with malingering cold and missing out on social events. But it was absorbing, unlike any other historical fantasy I’d read. Viewing Arthurian legend through the eyes of the female characters upended my sense of history altogether, showing me that even real world events can be viewed through many lenses. I loved identifying with the enchantress turned crusader. So dramatic! The heart strings it plucked—sexual frisson, jealousy, courage, betrayal, magic power—perfectly aligned with my turbulent emotional state as a restless young woman."
