I'm beginning to think Cassie Edwards' books just aren't for me. While I think this one has been better written (as far as I got, at least) than previous books of hers I've read, it still feels very simplistic. I don't much like the love at first sight because he/she is beautiful theme, it just doesn't work for me. I guess I like to read more originality in Native American romances; so far, all hers seem so similar to each other, and do not deviate much from one central plot.

TIME OF YOUR LIFE had a very confusing plot and I barely managed to follow it. I have a feeling it would have worked better shot as a television show. The best part featured Xander and Dawn's dialogue, the rest was just okay, although the additions with giants, centaurs, and forest creatures are getting ridiculous and carrying BtVS a little too far away from the series I love. Also, I didn't find the artwork as pleasing to the eye as the previous graphic novels. Definitely my least favorite in season eight so far.

Avengers (Assemble) is, IMO, the best movie to come out of the MCU. Yes, there are plot holes, and it's not a very intelligent movie, but it's a ton of fun. I'm a huge fan of TH's Loki, and he is, by far, the strongest villain thus far in the MCU. It's fast paced and is successful at bringing the gang together. The quips and humor are well timed (unlike AoU) and worked in the film.
Here's hoping Infinity War is more like this film, and nothing like AoU.

"As a war correspondent, I have read many of the classic eyewitness accounts. I bought this book when I visited Vietnam in 1997. It’s one of the rare novels about that terrible war written from their perspective by a North Vietnamese student. It’s brutal, gut-wrenching, heart-breaking and desperately human. It’s also vital to remember that as much as the U.S. suffered on all fronts, Vietnam came off far, far worse. This book was first translated and sold in the west, ten years before it could be published in Vietnam."

Goodreads, by far, is one of my favorite apps on my phone. I love keeping track of everything I'm reading, and what my friends also read. My only gripe is the search function, it could be so much better.

It is a good winters tale, i snuggled up in the sofa with a hot chocolate and a large thick red blanket. i wouldn't say it is my favorite book so far but i will defiantly read it again.
