One of the best reads I've read this year
Caraval was one of my favorite reads so far this year. It was very different from what I usually read, and I'm glad I found it. I love reading about whole new places that aren't part of our world. Stephanie Garber is excellent at descriptive passages of scenery. Her characters help the reader to immerse themselves in her book. Truly magical to read and imagine.

Emotional but beautiful story
The prequel to Max and Chloe's adventures, this one's a heart wrenched. It gives more depth to the first game as you realise the depth of Chloe and Rachel's relationship.
My favourite soundtrack of all the games so far, the band Daughter really help tell the story. I enjoyed the journey becoming the rebel that Chloe is in the first game.
Another heart wrenching beautiful journey.

This is my fav one so far.. I love Daegus.. he is hott and amazing and sooo awesome. I love his twin's book also but omg.. this one.. YUM. i loved his girl as well.. she was an awesome heroine. the only thing that irritates me a little about these books is all the girls are like 24+ in age and still a virgin.. does that really matter? but otherwise they are still amazing and wonderful and i totally recommend them :)

Childhood Revisited
I have really enjoyed the series thus far. It brings a bit of nostalgia mixed with SciFi that just melts the heart a little bit. The sound track is fantastic and fits the series very well. Acting is good! A well rounded cast really brings life to the normalcy of 80's and not so normal upside down!

A good if far fetched idea, putting it lightly, handled very well in this sci-fi/action film. I thought there was going to be slightly more to it, and kept waiting for just a bit more to happen, without quite reaching my expectations. It's very similar in a lot of ways to Deja Vu. It has a good cast and the plot will keep you interested for the duration. Overall an entertaining film, but might not stand well with repeated viewings.

I thought this book would ruin the Throne of Glass series as Chaol was one of my least favourite characters up to that point but it astounded me in being really gripping, following both chaols problems as well as Nesryn and new character Yrene Towers who are both far more interesting characters than Chaol in my opinion. As always Sarah J Maas writes beautifully with plots you could never hope to see coming. Can't wait for the next installment in the series.

Enjoyable action flic
Dont get me wrong, not expecting it to win many awards and it was no where near as good as the first but....
It was fun to watch, nice little twist and it has a good cast to. Amara (spaeny) was by far the best one but we did enjoy counting how many times Scott was trying to copy his dad in the acting department. Overall, an enjoyable film.

I made it about 100 pages in, then lost patience. The story began well enough, then got bogged down in planetary politics and industrial intrigue. Too many people are introduced, but the reader is given no reason to care about them. I probably would have enjoyed reading about the "replaced" character far more than the protagonist. Too bad--I adored Riva from [book:Mathemagics], and would love to read more in that universe, but otherwise it seems that Ball's work just isn't for me.

When I started reading this book I was unaware it was part of a series and as so I feel I have missed out on much of the history. Part 1 is OK so far but I have to say that the written scottish accent is very annoying, I am quite capable of putting in a scottish accent as I read if the character has one. I want to keep reading but the accent thing is really going to bug me.

Decent, but very predictable.
I finished the book within only a few days, but had to push myself to do so, only due to the fact I already knew exactly how it would end, far before I reached the final page. I personally felt the ending was very predictable, and it's not something I feel is worth a re-read. It was a book to add to my have-read-pile, but that's it - nothing more, nothing less.
