Sixth entry in the increasingly ridiculous Fast and Furious franchise, this one leans heavily on the hackneyed old amnesia plot, that acts as the catalyst for Dominic and co to team up with Hobbs who is tracking down an international gang, a member of which is Dom's old flame Letty.

This is the one set largely in London (complete with a cameo by Rita Ora), includes a tank(!) and finishes on what must be the world's longest runway as the gang try to stop a cargo plane taking off...

Movie Rating Watch

These days we have got so used to the fast-paced movies with all-out action that a film like 1917 can be a bit of a “Marmite Movie” for lots of people, but putting aside that the film does run in a slower pace than most movies that are currently running in cinemas at the moment, I have to say that I found myself glued to the film right from the start, it’s a powerful and emotional film that brings home the horror of war!

Two women with two very different lives, Thea and Denise had both had enough of their daily grind. Thea is divorced, her daughter wants to live with her father and his new family, and Denise is treated like a servant by her husband and sons. I’d be in that car and on that road trip pretty fast if my family treated me like Denise’s, I can tell you.

I really enjoyed Thea and Denise’s road trip, their adventures and growing friendship. I particularly liked Denise’s mum!

These are all contemporary romance stories with a hint of suspense. Fast-moving and full of action, you go from the Sahara Desert to the Arctic. All of these stories were thoroughly enjoyable and offered something for everyone.

Well written, full of adventure and steam, this is a collection that all contemporary lovers will enjoy!
