Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2470 KP) rated Murder for Choir (Glee Club, #1) in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Paige Marshall has taken a job coaching a show choir until her big break singing opera comes through. But when a rival coach is murdered, she starts trying to clear one of her students of the crime. The book is fun with great characters, fast moving plot, and gentle humor woven in. Paige took a couple more risks than I felt like she should have, but I enjoyed it and definitely plan to read the sequel.

Danvers hates his life, especially since no one appreciates his attempts to create stunts that his idol, Gonzo, would love. But one morning Danvers wakes up as a Muppet. What is happening? And how will his life change? I found the book to be a very fast read, the large number of pictures certainly helped. Yet, I also found it quite funny. Any fan of the Muppets will enjoy it, down to the elementary school target audience.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2470 KP) rated Secrets of Harmony Grove in Books
Mar 9, 2018
Sienna's life is turned upside down when she discovers she is under investigation by the Federal government. Then a former boyfriend is found dead on the property of the bed and breakfast he helped her fix up. What is going on?
As always, Mindy provides a fast start and lots of twists and turns. I didn't feel the pace was consistent in this one, but I still raced through it as quickly as I could.

Erika Kehlet (21 KP) rated Facials Can Be Fatal (Bad Hair Day Mystery, #13) in Books
Feb 21, 2018
When a well-to-do client dies mid-facial, Marla Vail decides to track down a killer to save her salonÂ’s reputation. This cozy has a great cast of characters and suspects galore. ItÂ’s a fast moving story that will keep you guessing, and rooting for Marla all the way through. While it is the 13th Bad Hair Day Mystery series, youÂ’ll be able to catch on and not feel lost even if you havenÂ’t read the previous 12 books. You will most likely want to go back and read them when youÂ’re done, however!

Not really sure what I felt about this film. When it ended I wasn't quite sure what the point of it had actually been? The visual effects were good, especially the bit on the plane where her body starts breaking down, but I did spend some of the time fast-forwarding through bits that dragged- when she was whizzing from place to place on her chair and the scenes from the galaxy. when she was reaching 100%. To me those bits just seemed to be padding and spoilt it for me as they made me lose interest.

Good if you want it
I enjoy being able to easily access my friend's list for a quick chat. I can use funny gifs, pics, and emojis easily and quickly with the search feature. However, if I want to just use chat on a browser, it won't let me, you HAVE to download messenger. Which drives me a little nuts that Facebook is in two apps. It's fine if you have a lot of room on your phone, but it doesn't work for everyone.
Books With Phoenix (91 KP) rated Bonded in Blood in Books

Hey all!!
Now I have to say that I did love this book. The characters go through a lot together and the growth that you see through them is great to see as well. The only slight dislike that I had was that the pace of the book was very fast.
I feel that there needed to be a clearer line of when it was the next night. I also feel there needed to be a little bit more filler.
Other than that it was brilliant and I will be reading the next ones!!!

Flew right through another one! LOVING this series and I can't finish one fast enough to get to the next. :) One of my favorite aspects of this book is that we get to follow everyone's story... and I'm loving every one of them!? These are some tough MC's guys, yet they all have a genuine soft spot for the women in their lives and while they all struggle with their own relationship drama, you know they are genuine and you can have faith that all will work out. One day read. LOVE this series- Highly recommended!! Onto Book #3!!

3D Aspect (4 more)
Variety of card powers
Fun for most ages
Easy to teach
Easy to learn
Myself and my game group really enjoy this game. It's fast, simple, easy to learn and play, and looks really cool on the table. This game, for me, is on par if not slightly better than Onitama. Only issue I have is the specificity required to fit everything in the box. Which makes me wonder... If that's my biggest gripe with the game... The game must be pretty good. And it is.

Very fast (4 more)
Very simple to grasp
Cheap to buy
Well made cards/artwork
Helpful instruction cards
An absolute blast
This game is an absolute blast for groups looking to learn more about each other and laugh. Pitting against each other and trying to guess when each other is lying is some of the most fun I've had at many parties I've brought it to. You can find it usually for about $15, and it's so easy many young children can play. The box I believe says 14+, but I've playing with 3-5 graders and they understood the game quickly and loved it.
