This is my favorite book in the series. There's so much going on and it's so engaging, I think this book has so much more action and emotion than the first. Also the ending is so good.

"My all-time favorite, even before Francis Ford Coppola turned it into Apocalypse Now. The ultimate topic, the ultimate metaphor. What great book couldn’t have been called Heart of Darkness?"

"Ionesco is my favorite playwright full stop. His work can be daunting to say the least, so reading this book can be quite helpful when trying to enter his impossible realms."

All time favorite book
This is my absolute favorite book and i can't say enough good things about it. I read this as a young child and it has been a yearly read since then. I have no doubt this book shaped who I am in a huge way and I wouldn't be the same person without it. It's often considered a horror novel, and while there is certainly a horror aspect to it, it's really a story about people and friendship.

My favorite book, I'm not even sure how many times I've read it, the first time being in high school. While there is a lot of information out there claiming inaccuracies in the book, as I'm sure there are, it is entertaining and well written.

Oh HELL no!

****SPOILERS BELOW****

This book killed off 2 of my favorite characters! B'Elanna Torres and her daughter! Seriously??? There had best be some follow-up in a later book that checks in with Tom Paris!

I am NOT a happy camper right now!

I'll be honest, this was not my favorite volume in the series this far. Not that it was bad. It just wasn't anything spectacular throughout this one. ...On to the next book!

One of my favorite Christmas movies. They did a beautiful job making it look just like the book. The songs and voice acting was perfect. I loved Tom Hanks as the conducter.
