Seriously the only word I can think that sums up Strange the Dreamer. Laini Taylor has such a way with words that just pulls you into the amazing worlds she writes and Strange the Dreamer does this from beginning to end. The world she builds is honestly anything but a fairytale but the images she uses through out the book are just so vivid that even through all the horror you want to go there Weep is a place that holds nothing but awful memories but the way she writes it you want to see it feel and just breathe it all in.
The Characters she's created this time around are all so diverse and though you genuinely don't like a few of the characters you want to know more about for me it was Minya. She is hands down my favorite character from the book she is just so fascinating that I could read a series solely about her. Lazlo is also a favorite he is just such a wonderful protagonist that you want to get everything he does about and on that note, Taylor went above and beyond with Lazlo's dream sequences that I just wanted to jump right into the pages and live in them.
I could probably go on forever about how much I just loved this book and I am going to die to wait for the next book.

In terms of everything else however….
I loved every second I had with the final book in the <i>Starbound</i> trilogy - it's so much more intense, action-packed, and fast paced than the other two books as all six characters (Tarver and Lilac from <i><a href="http://www.bookwyrmingthoughts.com/arc-review-these-broken-stars-by-amie-kaufman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">These Broken Stars</a></i>, Jubilee and Flynn from <a href="http://www.bookwyrmingthoughts.com/arc-review-this-shattered-world-by-amie-kaufman-and-meagan-spooner" target="_blank" rel="noopener">This Shattered World</a>, and now Gideon and Sofia) come together to bring down La Roux Industries.

Jo (5 KP) rated Simply Crazy in Books

These master plans are perfect for me! I just know l'll go from single
to married by the end of the summer! Seriously for a moment, Jenn Hype's books never fail to make me laugh but she's stepped her game up with this one. It took me on an emotional roller coaster ride. It has everything I've come to expect from s Hype book: A hawt hero , a take no prisoners heroine ...OK maybe one prisoner, and a cast of side characters that keep the party moving. And did I mention funny? I should have because that's a Jenn hype staple and it's definitely within these pages.
Alison Pink (7 KP) rated A Dance with Dragons: Part 1: Dreams and Dust in Books
Jan 15, 2018
As usual, this book did not disappoint. There was still the usual blend of treachery, lies, murder, etc. Without giving too much away, I was thrilled to read about Cersi finally getting hers!! She is one of my least favorite characters. But I was also bummed to read the arc of Jon Snow. :( I'm hoping that Martin has a surprise up his sleeve still with Snow. He was an intriguing character.
I guess all I can do now is wait with the rest of the world to see what happens next. Well played Martin!

This time, Lindsay Boxer is having a baby. She and Joe Molinari successfully got married in the last book and now baby makes three. Lindsay is just getting back to work and boy does she have her hands full. A body has been stolen from the ME's office. An old case she helped the FBI on has resurfaced and there is a professor who is dreaming about murders before they happen.
All of this is a lot for a regular cop to handle, but add in the emotions of just having a baby and trying to catch a killer and will Lindsay be able to handle it all.
