So good I've seen it twice...
Absolutely loved this film. Saw it and immediately wanted to watch it again - so wen't back a couple days later and experienced it in 4DX. I really don't have a bad word to say about it. Even if you weren't focusing on the nostalgia bits, it's a fantastic tale translated to the big screen incredibly well. Would be a great note on which to end Spielberg's career if he is starting to think about that

Felt like an alien movie, but didn't feel like an Alien movie
I love the Alien franchise. I have all 4 of the original movies and I've seen all of them multiple times, even 3 and Resurrection. I'm not a huge fan of Prometheus, but I was really looking forward to this movie despite knowing it would probably be more of a sequel to that instead of a true prequel to the Alien franchise.
I...am not entirely sure how I feel about this film. It's not a bad movie, but I don't feel like it's a true Alien film. There are great things about this movie. Michael Fassbender is pretty amazing in dual roles. Danny McBride shows that he can actually act outside of comedies. I cared about most of the characters. The gore was practical and not overbearing. Some of the characters actually made smart decisions. The "main character" is actually a decent action girl.
But, to go with the good there's the...not so good. For every good decision the "main character" makes, the "captain" makes 3 dumb ones. There's a couple scenes that make no sense. The "plot twist" is predictable. When you finally see the alien, it looks super human and not at all like xenomorphs we know.
It's a good sci-fi horror/thriller movie, but if you're expecting something in the vein of the originals, you're going to be disappointed.

Guilty pleasure film
Okay, I admit this film isn't the best but I some how can't stop watching it!
The introduction to the characters I feel was done quite well but the rest of the film is rushed and they seem to try to jump to the conclusion before the film has properly begun.
The characters Harley Quinn and Captain Boomerang I felt were played brilliantly and Amanda Waller was fantastic too. The rest of the actors and actresses were good, I feel the script and directing let them down.
Given a change to redo this with the same characters but a better script and possibly more time I feel this film could be an amazing hit!

This was an adorably sweet story. I love good vs evil and I love angels so this was a plus on so many levels. I was happy with the characters and I was sad with them. The writing made me feel with them and made me feel as if I was in the story with them. I love when a writer yanks me into the story so I am part of it with the characters. Damascus was awesome but I will admit... his brother was hotter ;) I know he wasn't the "good" one but what can I say... I love a good bad boy. Amelia was very strong and smart. She was pretty and sassy and I loved her character. I loved who she was and how she loved. I was glad that it wasn't just a "wam bam we love each other no issues" type story. They had issues, they had happiness and sadness, and it wasn't easy. It was a very good story and I would recommend it to my YA loving friends for sure.

I quite liked this film. It was a little predictable at times, but it was also really heartwarming and based on a true story, which I love. I also love that they showed home videos and things during the credits, that’s my favorite part of watching any film that’s based on a true story. I think it just makes it feel more real and it connects the story a bit more in a way that just doesn’t happen if they don’t show pictures and videos.

I liked that the film was about Paige. There are some pretty big names in this film, Vince Vaughn and Dwayne Johnson being two, and it didn’t feel like they were taking away from her or her story. It felt like they were there to lift her up, which I appreciated.

I think this movie is a good watch if you want something lighthearted but still a nice feel good.

Cute Love Story
This was a cute story. It was nothing heavy but more like a feel good love story. It was well written and the characters were developed even the secondary characters. Sometimes you have to run away to find yourself and have a chicken like you. It is a nice, enjoyable, light read.

Another good edition in the series, but still lacking a lot of action for the long running time. It does also, despite the length, only feel like half a film. There are some funny moments and it continues in the dark setting of the last few films. Hopefully the next part will be even better.

This was such a cute light hearted inspirational read. The aquicorns are so stinking cute I could scream. I also really appreciate the diversity in the cast and design of the characters. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick feel good story that they can gobble up in one sitting.

I like the art work in this graphic novel, it is quirky and reminiscent of Sergio Aragones and other cartoonists from the late 70s and early 80s. The colours are vibrant, and this interpretation flows well, obviously it is shorter than the text novel, but I feel that they have done a good job.

I loved the first one sooo much! This one was good also but I feel like it wasn't as get up and dance like, which I loved out of the first. Again the cast was great but sad they killed off Meryls character and they didn't explain anything. But her back story was kinda cool :)

@Vegemite Girl I finally got around to watching it. It was much worse than I could have imagined. Such a shame that they joy and magic of the first one could not be matched. So disappointing.

And still, Donna's dead. Boohoo. I loved her. Without Streep, is a movie even worth watching?
