Not as good as Daft Wee Stories
Some more daft wee stories from Limmy. I picked this up as a holiday read when my current fantasy book became too grim for poolside reading. These short stories are all of a similar feel to the first set but to my mind of lesser quality. The stories are generally all someone getting themselves into a ludicrous situation after a series of seemingly logical decisions. None of these quite match up with those in the first book, and some just end without his trademark twisted punchline. The final story, more of a novella, is more like a rejected Irvine Welsh story than his usual, and is really quite an unpleasant read.

This was an interesting set of books and authors. I personally didn't feel that it was "horror" persay but it had some of the slight creep factors.. now if it was YA (which I have no clue if it is or not but I think i saw its adult) it might be more horror then adult. But the stories themselves were good. I enjoyed them and the writing was very good . i am glad i got to review it

Melanie Dickerson has created yet another story that any fantasy romance reader will love. As with her other stories this one follows a girl who has to help her love.
As a servant she must help her prince regain his throne. A compelling romantic escape with a happy ending that is sure to leave you in a feel good mood .

Another great collection of stories
I feel like I need to include a preface with all of my Stephen King reviews, or some form of disclaimer, to warn any readers that he is my favourite author so my review may not be as neutral as it could be. Either that or he really is a great writer 😆

Everything’s Eventual is a collection of short stories that I read well over a decade ago, and as short stories require a lot less brain power than a full on novel, I decided to give this a go as I couldn’t recall many of the stories. And overall this is a very good collection of short stories. They’re all well written with developed characters (as you’d expect with King I’m sure), and the stories themselves have all got very good plots and storylines. The stories are all well balanced and there are none in here that are either overly long or too short, they’re very well paced. There are some great stories in here, most notably for me the John Dillinger story ‘The Death of Jack Hamilton’ and the Dark Tower prequel ‘The Little Sisters of Eluria’, but all of the stories are entertaining and very enjoyable. I wouldn’t say there are any amazing standout ‘wow’ stories in this, which is possibly why I’ve marked it down a little from some of King’s other collections of short stories.

I'm just not feeling this series. Too many unnecessary characters brought in, too much jumping around from location to location, perspective to perspective. Just as I feel like I'm getting into it and the story is getting good, it's all change again. I would've much preferred to focus on the main story, with fewer distracting side stories that don't really go anywhere or need telling.

I have a love of Fairy Tales so I was really excited to have the opportunity to read this novella. Unfortunately, I wasn't a huge fan of it. I tend to like stories where I am connected to the character. I really didn't feel connected to any of the characters nor did the story hold my attention.

The writing was good, but the twist in the story was extremely predictable and was a little disappointing.

Ultimately, I'm giving this 2 stars. The writing was good but the story missed the mark for me.

Call for a ehhhh time.
It's huge. So many world's so many stories to follow. I feel like that takes away from the game itself. I couldn't finish it, the game ended up feeling like a chore. I did however get into the coop online multiplayer, until the same four maps and three enemies got old. Worth a play, huge fans of the series will.more than likely have a good time playing it.

Badass
The leading lady is so badass, the actress and/or stunt double has some serious skill in fighting in different disciplines. I like the story although I found some of it a little rushed.

The characters work well together and there are some funny bits. It also felt quite inclusive.

I want more and feel like there could be hundreds of other stories around the adventures of the old guard.
