Cutesy but boring
Critic review by Tom Huddleston - Timeout

‘The Boss Baby’ is one of those snarky, post ‘Shrek’ cartoons that desperately wants to appeal to parents as well as kids, but its snappy, pop-culture-referencing script feels workshopped to death (there’s a running joke about Gandalf that’s bafflingly unfunny). Undemanding kids might get a kick out of its jazzy, restless visual style and poo jokes, but grown-ups may well find themselves taking some impromptu nap time.

The soundtrack incredulously represents the setting of Luke Cage.
A wonderful display of diverse characters.
Interesting representation of 'African-American' culture within Harlem.
A few poor action cuts and transitions which slightly break the suspension of disbelief. (2 more)
Fight scenes are slow and simple. This could be to represent Luke Cage's nature but I don't believe it to be a sufficient and engaging representation.
Feels like it awkwardly misses something mid season after specific events happen (no spoilers). The transition of the story is poorly executed.

The Best Spider-Man yet?
Honestly, this is not as good as Sam Raimi's Spider-man 2 which is amazing but it is in close second/third out of them all. I'm not saying this film isn't enjoyable because it is but it just was okay, very simple and unique, like deadpool per say.

A Little Slow but an Interesting Story
All robots have 2 protocols, one is to never harm a living thing, the other is the inability to alter themselves. Something goes wrong and insurance agent Jacq is left to figure out what the hell happened. It's a little slow to start but the story is interesting (except for this really really f**king weird bit where Jacq gets drunk). Feels a little like I, Robot though so I don't know how I feel about it. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't watch it again.

Ian McEwan is a genius
This book was so intriguing that I stopped many times while reading to embrace it all. Written in the perspective of a highly intelligent foetus, the storyteller narrates a dramatic Greek style plot in which he watches and feels his mother and uncle plot to kill his father. While obviously you have to suspend belief with the number of details the foetus is able to tell the reader given he's inside his mother, it is gripping right until the end. The prose is wonderfully fluid as per usual. Highly enjoyable.

A very decent Sci/Fi, thriller effort.....first time I can say that in a long time! A very good atmospheric film with plenty of action. Starts well the middle is patchy, but it picks up again towards the end. Good effects and set design, the overall feel of the film and the spaceship is quite creepy, good use of lighting etc. It's not the most original, it feels like a compilation of ideas from the best known Sci/Fi films. Overall a good effort that most should enjoy.

Demon-fighting, gun-slinging Wonder Woman
Season 1 was great, season 2 takes it to a whole new level. Show runner, Emily Andras, really knows how to make viewers feel all the feels. You'll go from laughing to crying to ready to punch someone in one scene. The amazing actors have definitely brought their A game this season to bring Emily's vision to life. If you like strong female characters, LGBTQ representation, demon fighting, and/or a show that'll keep you on the edge of your seat, this is the show for you.

The Secret Life of Emily Dickinson is an enchanting piece of art. Charyn dives to the depths of Emily’s mind, traveling down “organized rabbit trails” of her random but poetic thoughts. Her character is distinctly unique, her story frightening but beautiful.

This book feels like hot chocolate going down—delicious, sweet, but surprisingly fiery, leading your thoughts here and there, but keeping the flavor of Emily in your mind the whole time.

Content and Recommendation: Emily’s experiences are not for “young” people, but it would be appropriate for ages 16+

I LOVE it!!!!!
I havent finished it yet, i want to take my time and enjoy every minute of it. It's full of Greek mythology, major bonus for me, and an rich storyline. My character has a personality! Everything about it feels beautiful and a joy to play. I still cant read maps, so finding things for me can be a bit tricky. However, there the handy feature to help you find quest goals and Ikaros to guide your way. BEST ASSASSINS CREED EVER!!!!

I'm beginning to think Cassie Edwards' books just aren't for me. While I think this one has been better written (as far as I got, at least) than previous books of hers I've read, it still feels very simplistic. I don't much like the love at first sight because he/she is beautiful theme, it just doesn't work for me. I guess I like to read more originality in Native American romances; so far, all hers seem so similar to each other, and do not deviate much from one central plot.
